Prologue

(Madelyn's pov)
The warm shower feels like a rain storm. I comb my wet, brown hair with my fingers and rub some conditioner in. I wash it all out and just stand there. 'tonight will be fun' I think to myself as I grab a towel and dry myself off. I blow dry my hair and put on a form fitting black cocktail dress that hugs my curves perfectly. I apply my makeup and grab my tiny black purse as I head down the stares to see if Bruce was finally ready to go.
"You look gorgeous Mads." Bruce says as he kisses my cheek and I strap on my heels.
"Thank you, Bruce." I say as we lock arms and head out to the limo. Bruce opens my door and I climb in.
"Tonight's going to be fun, right?" I ask as he puts his arm around me and I hear the line start.
"I hope you have a great time." He says as he kisses my forehead. 'I hope something fun does happen' I think to myself and smirk a little.
The car ride is short and quite. As we pull up I see a flash of purple go around back. 'Oh I'm right something fun will happen' I think with a smirk as I open the door and climb out. Bruce takes my arm as we head into to fancy business dinner.
"So Bruce how are things with Madelyn." One of his business friends asks.
"Well I actually have an announcement to make." He says as he hits his glass of champagne to get everts attention. Once everyone looked at us, Bruce looked at everyone.
"Everyone I have an announcement to make." He says as he looks at me.
"Madelyn I've known you for a very long time and I think we have a very unbreakable bond." 'Omg is he proposing to me? One of his sworn enemies?'
"Will you marry me" He says as he gets on one knee. I'm honestly speechless. The Bruce Wayne wants me, Blaze, to marry him? Of course he doesn't know I am Blaze, but I think this could be interesting.
"Bruce I'm speechless I-" I was cut off by an explosion. 'Ohh~ it's about to get fun' I think as a whole bunch of men barrage through.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" Someone yelled and the room was in complete chaos. People were screaming, guns where firing. Bruce grabs my arm and places me in a safe spot.
"Stay here I'll be right back." He tells me as he kisses me on the forehead. I assume he is changing to Batman.
"Puddin!" I hear a familiar girls voice yell across the hall. 'She must be looking for the Joker' I think as I peak over the chair I'm hiding behind. 'No one is down here' I think as I run to the exit door which is conveniently placed close to the chair. I feel the cold air as I walk out and look to my sides to make sure no one is there. I quickly become Blaze. I'm about to climb to the roof, but I forgot the most important thing. My flamed mask. I put it on and continue to the top of the building. Once I'm at the top I find a latch that leads back inside. I go to the bathroom just to hide for a quick glance at myself in the mirror. My slick black suit with red flames coiling around my body. I grab my two pistols and head to the grand room. 'I hope I'm not missing all the fun' I think as I kick down the door.
"HELLLOOOOOO!" I yell as I see people with fear in there eyes.
"Oh~ Blaze nice to see ya again!" Harley says as she walks up to me.
"You too Harley!" I say as we hug. She is one of my closest friends.
"It's over ladies." I release her to see the one and only Batman standing in front of me.
"Oh~ Batsy! This is getting more fun by the second." I say as I load my pistol and shoot at him. Of course he tries to dodge, but I get his lower arm. I laugh as I run off to get away. Harley made a dash as soon as Batman showed up, so I had no idea where she was. I make it outside and I see the Joker getting into his car without Harley.
"Hey J, where's your precious doll?" I ask as he looks at me with annoyance.
"She'll be here." He says and right on cue she jumps into the passage seat and they drive off. I've always kinda liked him. I mean we are basically at the same level of insanity as each other.
"It ends here Blaze." I turn to see Batman standing there with handcuffs.
"Ugh your no fun!" I shout as I run, but his stupid side kick, Robin grabs me and puts a pair of handcuffs on me. I start laughing maniacally as they put me into the car and drive me off to the asylum I assume. As he places me in the caged room I decide to mess with his head.
"Oh! But what about your precious little Madelyn? I'm sure she is very frightened right now!" I smirk as he just looks at me in shock.
"Where is she?!" He yells.
"I dunno I haven't touched her." I say as I shrug and walk off to the so called bed.
"I'm tired. Leave." I say as I lay down. I hear his foot steps leave and I start to laugh. 'Oh this is going to be good' I think as I get louder.
"Shut up!" One of the guards say as they bang my cell.
"Make me~" I say seductively as I just lay and think about what I've done.

I honestly have just been obsessed with Suicide Squad and the joker for the past few days. I think I have like 25 Joker x readers in my library😂 so I plan on making my own.
