The Kiss

"WEASLEY WEASLEY WEASLEY!" Everyonr cheered after the quidditch match. Gryffindor had won.

Dani, Hermione and Tom stood together in the far corner of the room. Thats when it happend. Ginny grabbed Harry and kissed him! Dani suddenly felt alone and turned around. Hermione and Tom were nowhere to be seen.

She searched for them and eventually found them both crying on the bottom step of a staircase.

Dani sat next to her brother hugging him.

"Is this what it feels like when Draco ignores you?" Tom asked through his tears.

Dani didn't know what to say, she looked up and saw beautiful white birds made out of paper.

"It's a charm I've been practising." Hermione cried.

Harry and Ginny ran around the corner, Lavendar and Ron behind them.

"Uh oh I think this room is taken." Lavendar said leaving with ron.

"Hey, what's with the birds?"Harry asked.

"Why are you guys crying?" Ginny asked.

Tom just carried on hugging his sister.

"Oppugno."Hermione said and the birds flew towards the pair angrilly.

Harry and Ginny ran out of the room together.

"He's perfectly able to kiss who he wants. I really don't care." Hermione stated the next day in the library.

"And I don't care who she kisses either."  Tom stated.

"Did I think he and I would be attending the christmas party together,yes." Hermione said.

"Maybe if I had a chance to ask her." Tom said.

"Guys shut it." Dani said.

Tom and Hermione stayed quite and there was an awkward silence.

"Anyway seeming as though neither of us can go with who we wanted. Shall we go together Hermione as friends?" Tom asked breaking the silence.

"Why didn't I think of that." Hermione said.

"Why, what happend?" Dani asked sternly.

"I am going with someone else." Hermione said.

"Who?" Tom asked.

"It's a suprise." Hermione said,leaving.

Dani and Tom stared at eachother,then at the floor, then the books, then eachother again.

"Should we go together, you know as brother and sister?" Tom asked.

"Fine." Dani said.
