TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of self-harm
Seokjin
I looked in my closet, my eyes slowly leading themselves to my oversized light pink sweater.
No, Jin. That's too gay. I thought.
...But you are gay.
I shook my head, quickly moving to the white hoodie in the corner and slipping it on.
We both know what happened the last time I... decided to be myself.
"What the hell is he wearing?"
"Ew, what a fag."
"I've never seen a guy in pink before. Is he a retard?"
"Omg, is he trans? Fuck, I used to have a crush on him."
"What is it, LGBT Pride Day?"
I walked slowly to my locker with my head down. I could hear their judgements, I could feel their dirty looks.
I wanted to have one day to be comfortable in my own clothes, so I wore a pink long-sleeved shirt.
It was the worst mistake I ever made.
"Yo, manwhore."
Were they talking to me?
"Yah, pabo. Look at people when they talk to you."
I turned around, just to be slammed into a locker. I slowly shrunk against it.
"What's the matter, Princess? Can't take a hit?"
I loved that nickname. But not when people used it as an insult.
I didn't even get to speak before they were beating me up.
Punches were coming from everywhere and I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, I couldn't scream. No one was doing anything, just watching and recording it. So I just let them have their fun. I didn't even stand up for myself.
I fell to the ground but their kicks just got harder and rougher.
I pulled up my hoodie sleeve. The cut marks were still there. Healing, but there.
I sighed to myself and covered it up again.
Then, I went to the bus stop.
Namjoon
I waited patiently at my newly assigned desk. I came early to school since it was my first day.
I moved here after the first few months of school because I had some issues at my old school.
Last year, I was bullied for being a gay rapper.
