The blue eyed Salvatore handed Bonnie the folder. Bonnie opened it and looked at the driver's license record.

"A little compulsion helps sped up the research process." Damon said, shrugging.

"This is her."

"Yep. Road trip. I call shotgun." Damon announced.

"Yea-No." Elena told Damon.

"Want me to hang out in the back with you?"

"You're not coming, Damon."

Damon furrowed his eyebrows. "Why? I'm the one who found her."

Elena let our a big sigh. "Okay, Damon, look. Bonnie hasn't seen her mom in over fifteen years. We don't need your snarky commentary narrating the experience."

Damon and Elena stared each other down. Bonnie looked at the two, slightly confused.

"What's going on with you two?"

"We kissed. Now it's weird. Have a great trip." Damon said and left the Gilbert Residence.

Bonnie looked surprised and turned to Elena, was at lost for words.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Klaus was sitting in a chair, drinking alcohol when Stefan entered and saw the Original Hybrid. Music was blaring throughout the house and Stefan had to turn rhe music down and looked at Klaus.

"What are you doing here, Klaus?"

"Enjoying our stalemate." Klaus said and smiled.

"What do you want?"

Klaus stood up from his chair. "The question is what you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded, so please tell me what I need to do to get my family back."

"Well, see, Klaus, I'm not negotiating." Stefan told him.

"And you understand, that holding them indefinitely is the same thing as dropping them in the ocean?"

"No, No. You leave Mystic Falls and then give me call in a few years and we'll talk." Stefan said, obviously stalling Klaus.

"I can give you another chance. Just one more. Let's make a reasonable deal."

"Or what? You make one move and I will drop...." Stefan trailed off.

Klaus laughed. "Yes, right. Crazy Stefan. How is that working out for you? Any friends left?"

Elena and Bonnie were in Bonnie's car driving to Bonnie's mom.

"I just can't believe that I'm actually going to see her. Or meet her. Sort of. Since I don't really remember her." Bonnie said.

Elena looked at her. "You don't really talk about her."

Bonnie shrugged. "What's to say? She left, never wrote, never called. Not even when my Grams died. Could we talk about you and Damon instead?"
