Chapter II

I walk up the steps, Colson left already which was actually kind of bittersweet

I open the door to see the place absolutely trashed

"Raider?! Alexis?!" I call out "Stella?!" I yell out for Stella

I grab my phone and call Stella, it rings a few times before she picks up

"Hi Dylan what sup?" She asks laughing

"Where are you?" I say quickly

"Chipotle with the kids how come?" She asks in a worried tone

"We were robbed I'm pretty sure the place is absolutely trashed, I called you first to make sure you and the kids are alright" I say hoping my portfolio of my other pictures are ok

"Oh my god" she says

"Listen can you call Jon see if the kids can stay with you two while I clean up and deal with the police" I ask not touching anything

"Yah sure I'll see you in a couple of hours" she says then we hang up, I dial the police

"Hello 911 what's the emergency?" The lady asks

"Hi Uhm my place has been robbed" I say walking outside

"Ok I'll send police right over what's your address" she asks so I tell her my address and hang up

I slide down the wall by my door and wait

After 5 minutes police walk up the steps

"Ms. Carter?" One of them says I get up and read his name tag Swarek

"Hi" I say shaking his hand

"Hi I'm officer Swarek and this is officer McNally"(names are from Rookie Blue😝) he say pointing to a female officer behind him with brown hair

"So what happened?" Officer McNally asks as we walk into the place

"I came home and everything was trashed" I say

"Was anything taken?" Other Collins asked

"Uh yah from what I know of was my jewelry box but it only had a few earrings and a couple of necklaces" I say following them in the apartment

"Do you know anyone who could've done this?" Officer McNally asks

"No well one actually his name is Steve Davidson" I say since he was pretty pissed off when Colson kissed me

"Would he have any motivation to do so?" McNally asks

"Uh yah we went on a few dates and ah my ex boyfriend came into to town and kissed me in front of him" I say looking at the floor

"That is defiantly some motives" I hear Swarek say lowly like he was saying it more to himself

After they leave I call Stella and tell her they're gone

After I hang up I close and lock my door, I walk down the steps to see Colson at the bottom pacing around

"Colson?" I ask causing him to stop and turn around

"Dylan hey" he smiles stopping to look at me

"Hi Uhm what are you doing here?" I ask readjusting my bag over my shoulder with cloths for Raider, Alexis and I since we were going to stay with Stella and her boyfriend

"I uh" he starts but starts but can't finish

"Well" I say crossing my arms over my chest

"Dylan I'm sorry" he says walking up to me and grabbing my hands in his

"I'm sorry I left you all those years, for the pain you probably felt and all the tear you probably let fall out of your beautiful Hazel eyes, for being an ass towards you and never calling or texting you while I was on the road" he says kissing my knuckles between each reason

"I missed you like crazy Dyl" he says and I can tell he's being honest with me cause he always sucked at lying to me

"I did cry and feel a lot of pain but I missed you" I finally speak up, I pull him in and hug him

"Can you do me a favor please?" I ask pulling away

"Yah what up?" He holds onto my waist

"I need a ride to my friends but we have to pick her up first" I smile

"Ok where she at?"

"Chipotle with my kids" I say as we walk out of the beat up apartment building

"Ok let's go" he says walking over to the drivers side, I get in the car and we head towards Chipotle

We pull up and I get out running in to see Stella and the kids just sitting there enjoying there food

I run back out and tell him they're still eating so we walk in and I decide to go get something to eat

After I get my food I go head towards where they are sitting

"Hi my lovelies" I sit down and Colson sits across from me

"Hi mom" Raider says yawning which cause me to yawn(so as I wrote this line I actually yawned fr😂 ok back to the story)

I take a bite of my taco and close my eyes savoring the taste since it's been awhile since I actually had Chipotle

After we eat we pile into Colsons car and head to Stellas boyfriends house
