Merry Christmas

I open my eyes to see Serena snuggled against my chest, her small breaths hitting my neck.
I tighten my grip around her and pull her closer to me.
She looks so cute when she's sleeping.
I place my chin on her head and close my eyes.
She's like a little teddy bear.
"Morning Ashy.."
I hear her whisper and I kiss her on the head.
"Morning my little teddy bear."
She giggles and kisses me on the lips. 
"So Sere, anything important happening today?"
She looks at me and thinks deeply.
Her mouth suddenly drops open.
"It's Christmas!!!" She screams, busting my ear drums.
The launches herself out of bed and excitedly hops from one foot to he other.
"Come on Ash!" She shouts, trying to pull me out of bed.
I groan and close my eyes again.
"Ashy please..."
I sit up to see her sadly sitting on the floor, her hair shielding her eyes.
"S-Serena.."
I walk over to her and bring her into a hug.
"I'm sorry..."
She looks up at me a suddenly grins.
"Huh?!"
She jumps on top of me and pushes me over.
"I'm joking Ashy." She giggles and kisses me.
"You're so cheeky Sere."
She grins at me then runs downstairs.
"Come on Ashy! Let's open some presents!!" She screams.
I giggle to myself.
She's so cute.
I rush downstairs to see her excitedly jumping up and down.
"Serena why are you so excited?" "Well, this is my first Christmas with you.."
Wow, she's right.
"Well let's make it extra special."
She grins at me and runs over to our Christmas tree.
"Come on Ashy!"
I run over to her and hug her from behind.
"Let's open some presents shall we?"
She nods and I place her on the floor in between my legs.
Serena grabs the first present and reads the tag.
"Yay!! It's for me!!!" She screams.
She has definitely spent too much time with May.
"Can I open it Ashy?" "Of course you can Sere."
She looks at me happily and starts to slowly unwrap it.
"Hey Sere you know you're allowed to rip it.
"But I don't want to. I want to keep every single piece of this present."
Aww that's so cute.
She eventually opens it.
"Y-you got me a box... THANKYOU SO MUCH ASHY!!"
She crushes me into a hug.
"Serena there's something in the box."
I start uncontrollably laughing.
"Oh.." "It's ok Sere, you didn't know." "I'm so stupid..."
I pull her into a kiss.
"Serena, stop doubting yourself. You're not stupid, this isn't any of you're fault. You've never learnt this stuff. It's not you're fault ok. Now, why don't you open your present."
I grin at her and she smiles back.
"Ok Ashy, Thankyou."
She slowly opens the box to reveal a golden heart necklace.
"You got this for me... Thankyou so much Ashy."
She gives me a big kiss.
"No problem Serena." "Now open mine!"
She sticks a present in my face, pushing me over.
"Ok Sere."
I rip open the present to find a small bracelet with a small heart charm on it.
I look closer at the charm to see S♡A
"I know it's not much bu-"
I stop her by giving her a kiss.
"It's beautiful Serena."
She smiles at me cutely.
HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO CUTE!!!!!
I stand up.
"H-hey Serena... I-I have one more thing to give you." "Oh, ok As-"
She was cut off by a loud grumbling noise.
"Was that your stomach Ash?" "U-uh yer."
She smiles at me and stands up.
"Why don't I make breakfast?" "Yes please Sere."
She walks into the kitchen and I flop onto the sofa.
How am I meant to do this.
I sigh deeply and turn the small box in my hand.

I hear footsteps walking towards me and quickly stuff the box in my pocket.
I'm so glad that I just got changed.
Serena walks in, grinning widely, holding two plates of sausages and eggs.
My eyes sparkle and my mouth instantly starts watering.
"Do you want some Ashy?" "Yes please."
She places a plate in my lap and some cutlery and I chow it down quickly.
"Ash you really need to eat slower, you'll choke." "It's ok Serena, I've never cho-"
As I swallow a piece of sausage it gets caught in my throat and I start choking.
"Ash!"
She hits my back and I gasp for air.

Eventually the food goes down and I fall back in exhaustion.
Serena looks at me worriedly.
"Are you ok Ash?" "Yer yer I'm fine."
I see her bite her lip.
"Please eat slower next time..."
She bows her head down.
"You got me so worried Ash.."
I pull her into a hug.
"I'm sorry Serena I'll be careful next time." "Thankyou..."
"Now, am I allowed to give you my present now?" "Of course Ashy."
I take a deep breath.
Here we go.
"You need to stand up for this Sere." "Oh, ok."
We both stand up and a blush hits my face.
Relax Ash, you're going to be fine.
It's just one question.
"Serena."
She turns to look at me and I get on one knee.
I pull the box out as tears start forming in Serena's eyes.
"Serena Yvonne, will you make me the most happiest man alive and be my wife?"
