Legend's POV

      "D-Don't lo-ok s-so surpri-sed, Lake-front."

He had a terrified look in his grayish red eyes. "I-It cant be you. I haven't seen you since we were kids."

  Even though I was being held down, I could feel the fear radiating from his body. "Hehehehehe. It-'s ni-ce you-u re-memb-er me. Hey, Reme-mber w-when w-e were ki-ds an-nd w-we w-w-wor-ked with f-father? Hehehe, I-I s-ure d-o. I def-initely picked u-up a-a f-ew t-t-tric-ks."

A voice wafted down here. "Lakefront! What's he talking about."

"Dete-ctiv-e Ellison. Tw-as the plea-s-s-sure." My voice was still cracking.

"How the heck do you know my name!" His annoying voice filled my head, giving me a headache.

"I-I kn-ow lots o-f t-t-things."

He rolls his soulful eyes with disbelief. "Whatever," he continues under his breath, "This can continue at the station."

As we headed toward the police cruiser, I noticed the disgusting boy. I sneered again. I hated it. But at least I know my life will get more interesting now that Lakefront is in the picture.
