·Chapter 9: The Doctor·

"Thanks again for keeping him Laura. Sorry it was such a late notice." You thanked her and apologized.

"No its perfectly fine! I'm here for you anytime. I love spending time with him." Laura smiled, holding Spencer on her hip.

"He always gets really concerned whenever I go." You chuckled.

Laura knew you what you were talking about. You just didnt want to say the word 'doctor' in front of him.

"Well, I have to be there fairly soon. Thanks again!" You thanked her, and said your goodbyes before leaving.

"(Y/N) Dun?" The lady called as she peaked her head through the door.

You smiled, standing up and walking through the door with her.

"Hey! How are you doing?" The nurse asked excitedly. This was the nurse that always led you back to the doctors room, so you knew each other fairly well from whenever you or josh or Spencer came in for check-ups.

The two of you continued chatting even when you got back to the room until she realized what time it was. "Ooh, I better get back to work I suppose. It was nice talking to you!" She smiled. "Yea, it was nice catching up!" You agreed.

After she left, it was only minutes before the doctor came in.

"Hello!" She greeted you happily. "Hi! How's it going?" You asked. This was your family doctor, so you were pretty comfortable with her as well.

You two talked for a couple minutes like you did with the nurse before you started talking about what you came here for.

"So you're here for a stomach bug, right?" She asked, scribbling a couple things on her clipboard.

"Yea, that's right." You nodded in confirmation.

She asked you some other questions, and you answered them easily.

"Any sexual activity recently?" She asked, causing a hiccup in your easy answering.

"Like... How recently?" You asked.

"Last 6 months or so?" She said.

"Yea..." You answered, and she scribbled down a couple more things.

"Alright... Just to start things off, I'm going to order for a pregnancy test just to make sure that's not what it is. If not, then we'll run through a check up and figure out if I need to put you on any antibiotics. And if it is pregnancy, we'll just take it from there." She explained with a smile.

You tried to smile back, but you felt like you were going to throw up.

You waited impatiently in your little room. You had just taken the pregnancy test they ordered for, and you were trying to think of what you would do.

The door clicked, causing you to look up. The doctor came in, smiling as usual.

She quietly sat down before looking up at you.

"Congratulations (Y/N)!"

She excitedly said, smiling.

"W-What?" Your stomach dropped, and you could practically feel the blood drain from your face.

"You're pregnant!"

You walked out of the doctors office and got into your car. Your body felt numb, and your mind was swirling.

Tears came to your eyes, and no matter how much you tried not to cry, you couldnt help it.

Would Josh be okay with this? He said he didn't want another child... He would love you no matter what, right? But what if he cant handle another child and leaves? What if this ruins your marriage?

For about 10 minutes, you just sat in your car and cried.

Your phone began buzzing, playing the tune of 'ride'. This told you it was Tyler.

Hesitantly, you picked up the phone and answered. "Hello?" You said quietly, trying not to sound like you just cried.

"Hey (Y/N)... You okay?" Tyler asked.

You sighed, realizing it didn't work.

"Its just been a long day." You replied. "You wanna talk about it?" He asked silently. You thought about just telling him some other random reason, but whenever you had problems, Tyler always seemed to calm you down.

"I mean, if you want to hear about it... Its kind of a mrss though." You explained. "That's alright! I'm here for you." Tyler said calmly.

"Is Josh around?" You asked. "No..." He responded slowly. "You promise?" "Of course I promise. I wouldn't lie to you." Tyler explained.

"Alright... Well.." You said, taking a deep breath. "I'm pregnant."

Tyler went silent for a minute, which scared you. "Really?!" He asked, excited.

"Yea... But I dont think Josh is going to be too happy about it." You admitted. "Aww what makes you think that?"

The two of you talked about this back and forth for a while. You cried a little more, anf laughed a little at Tylers remarks too.

"I won't tell him... I dont know how he's going to handle it though. I mean, I don't think he's going to do anything irrational." Tyler explained. "If he gets upset at first, I'm sure it wont past for long." He said hopefully.

This made you feel a little better, and it caused you to smile.

"Thanks Tyler..." You thanked him, feeling much better than you originally did. "No problem. I'm always here for you (Y/N)."

After the two of you hung up the phone, you decided to go to Alexis' house before going to pick up Spencer.
