As I am walking towards the dorms, my mind is set on him. Him as in Al. We've only known each other for a few weeks; almost a month. I wouldn't go as far as saying I love Him, but I do like him. It's too early for I love you.
Pitpatgoes footsteps behind me. I turn around and see a familiar face. A face that I was just thinking of. I smile and hug Al. He gladly hugs back.
"You okay?" I asked.
"I will be okay," he replies.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"I'm fine Tris, don't worry," he reassures me.
"You know that I'm going to worry Al," I said.
"I know, but you don't need to worry Tris," he said.
"Okay," I reply, unwrapping my arms from his torso.
He holds out his hand and I gladly accept it. We then walk to the dorms together. Today was the beginning of fighting in training. Tomorrow will be more fights. Today I didn't have to fight, but Al did. He was up against Will. He knocked Will out and won. He didn't seem to proud of himself. I was proud of him, but I was also worried about Will.
"How's Will? Did you go see him after the fights?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's okay," Al replied.
I just nod my head as we walk. There's not a whole lot to talk about tonight. The only thing that happened today was the fights. After that, it was kind of boring. Especially for me because I didn't even get to fight, which I'm glad. I didn't want to get my butt beat by Peter or Edward; they're the biggest out of us all.
Well, another thing did happen today. It had to do with Christina, of course. But she had to fight Molly, and it got to the point were Chris couldn't take it. So she yelled stop and Eric looked at her with his beady eyes.
"Are you done?" He asked her.
Chris just nodded her head in responce while looking at him. Her nose was bleeding heavily and I was clung to Al's arm. Eric grabbed her arm and helped her up.
Eric walked down to the chasm with his arm around christina. She was shaking a bit, but she did her best to hide it. Al and I were watching as Eric shoved her over the edge. Christina quickly grabbed the railing and everyone was watching.
"If you can hang over the Chasm for five minutes, I will forget your cowardice. If you can't, I will not allow you to contiune initiation." Eric says sharply.

Christina then starts her five minutes of hanging off the Chasm. I watch her and try my best not to leap out and pull her up. Al set his watch for five minutes and he keeps glancing down at it. I looked over at it a few times to see how much time she had left.
"You can do it," I called out.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that because Eric gives me a dirty look. Maybe I don't want my bestfriend to die or to get kicked out of Dauntless. But why would Eric care? He looks like a person who would steal candy from a baby.
"Times up," Eric said.
Me and Al quickly rush over to help her. Eric watched us and then walks off. What a jerk.
