Society:
Lessons, morals
Imprinted in our minds.
Do we question them?
No, we only share.
What we assume
Is the shared thoughts
Of society
May not be.
Aren't we all part of society,
Don't majority of us,
Think ourselves different?
Different from the others,
Society, the majority.
If many of us,
Assume we are all different,
Than isn't it safe to say
That all we think
Society is made up of
Is meerly passed down,
Shared?
And that the expectations
Are purely what our ancestors
Said it should be?
Since this seems to be the case,
Maybe it is about time
Society adopted it's thoughts
From it's new generation.
---A/N----
I mean no disrespect to the older generations. This is just a self reflection on the things around me kind of poem. I apologize if this poem has offended anyone.
