Days turned into weeks,weeks turned into months.It has been a month after my final exam and also a month since the break up.Jungkook and I never talked since the wedding day.Avoiding each other in school,that has been our routine since then.Today,all of the 97 liners,we're going to graduate and officially our high school years will end.Then,we'll have to wait for our exam results to come out 3 months after graduating.
"Good morning,students or should I say good morning,to our Seoul High School alumni!Today is your day,are you excited to end your schooling years?" Our principal began his speech.Some of us cheered happily while some were sad to end their schooling days.Me,I'm happy but sad at the same time.I will miss every memory that I had either its good or bad memories here in school.
"After you leave the school,I hope all of you will be successful in the future and don't ever forget your teachers here.Remember,they are also a part of your success.Lastly,when your results are out either its good or the opposite,never give up.Success will come to those who never gives up,okay?" All of us answered yes which made him happy.
"Alright,I think it's enough from me today.I think if I speak longer I might cry to see my students leaving their high school." He said which made all of us laugh.Out of all the principal that I met,Mr.Son is the most humorous principal yet still had his seriousness when the situation needed him to be serious.After our principal finished his speech,we were entertained by our school's band performance.
"Yah,Soyeon." Dahye called me from my right side.
"Yes?" I responded to her.
"Where's Jungkook?" She asked me.I was a bit surprised by that but still had my calm face on.
"I don't know." I shrugged.She sighed.
"What is happening between the two of you?Are you having a couple fight or something?" She asked.
"Dahye-ah,let's just focus on graduating,okay?" I said to her which she nodded.Not one person that's close to me knows about this because it'll hurt me when I keep on remembering it.
"Students,now it's time for certificate giving.I invite our principal,Mr.Son to come to the stage to give out the certificates for our alumni today." the MC spoke as Mr.Son stood up from his seat and went up the stage.We also stood up and waited at the side of the stage to receive our certificate.
"From class 1,Ahn Sehyun."
"Arisa Lee."
Then,the certificate giving continued until his name was mentioned.
"Jeon Jungkook." Everyone was looking for him but he was not here.Without wasting any time,the ceremony continued without anyone taking the certificate for him.
"Kim Soyeon." I put a smile on my face and walked to the stage to receive my certificate.
"Congratulations,Mrs.Kim."
"Thank you,sir." I thanked him and walked down the stage.When I got off the stage,I looked at my certificate and smiled proudly.I finally made it.I sat back on my seat and watch as the ceremony continued.I still feel curious about Jungkook's absence and I needed to know why so,I texted V and Namjoon as they were the ones close to him.Surprisingly,both of them didn't know where he went.
"He just didn't want to see me." I spoke to myself and look at my phone wallpaper.I can still remember that day clearly.It was the time when we went to ice skating.I smiled to myself thinking about the wonderful memories that we had.I felt my eyes getting teary and I immediately locked my phone.
"Hey,are you okay?" Dahye held my shoulder.
"Yeah,I'm okay just..a bit sad that we're leaving school soon." I answered her.
