Asuna's POV

I walked back to the alley, and found my sword still stuck to the wall. With my strength, I could easily pull it out from the wall. However, my head still hurt terribly.

Holding my head up using my free arm, I dragged my sword along the alley, only to be stopped by someone in front of me.

"Scram off. I'm not in a good mood right now, so don't blame me if I kill you." I muttered, looking downwards.

"I figured you'll be here." The same man whom I met earlier was here. How sickening.

"You again!" I hissed through my teeth, and jerked my head upwards to glare at him.

"I have a name, little girl." He rolled his eyes.

"So do I."

We stood there staring – no, more like glaring at one another. The amount of hate I felt for this guy was empowering, and I felt like I could kill him any moment now if I wasn't so weak from that fight.

"Man, why am I wasting my time here anyway." He broke the silence by yawning and stretching his arms. "I'm going off."

"Stop."

The man turned around and raised his eyebrow in question.

"That girl asked you to come here isn't it?" I said, causing him to widen his eyes.. "Princess... Yona..."

"How..." He started frowning, which soon resulted in a glare.

"I wasn't actually unconscious, okay? I'm not that weak." I rolled my eyes.

The man suddenly raised his weapon and pointed it directly into my face. I didn't flinch at all, and my gaze remained fixed on the man.

"Tell this to anybody, and you won't see daylight again."

"Hmph," I crossed my arms and looked away defiantly. "I can't promise that."

The man grunted and withdrew his weapon. He stared at me with a gaze that was definitely piercing, and even a person like me couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

"You're troublesome." He sighed, finally giving in to my stubbornness.

"I know that," I rolled my eyes. "What do you want from me?"

"It isn't me."

"It was her. She wants to make sure that you're okay."

"I'm fine, I'm perfectly fine!" I yelled at the man. "Please, just tell her that I can take care of myself. I don't need others to worry. It's a waste of time."

At my outburst, the man looked slightly shocked, but quickly regained his composure. He cleared his throat, before nodding his head obediently. "Okay, I'll let her know that."

"Good," I looked away in the opposite direction. "Oh, and tell Kija I'm grateful for his help."

"What did that White Snake do anyway..." He mumbled. I turned around.

"I'm sorry, but what? White Snake?" I raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

"Nothing. Okay, I'm off." The man grinned falsely.

I simply rolled my eyes in response.

"Oh. And the name's Asuna." I smirked, looking down.

"Hak, if you hadn't noticed."

"That's a horrible name."

"Same goes to yours, little girl."

Silently, we parted ways from the alley way. What a day. Time to head over to the nearby Inn to recover from my injuries, I thought silently.

I kept my sword inside its holder on my left, and clutched my small pouch of supplies close to me.
