Captured and Sold

Prologue

Hey. So this is my first werewolf story. It is one of those classic human slave ones. I have read a lot of those so I decided to write my own. My little twist on it is that she is on the run and didn't start in slavery so ya. If you are looking for one of those classic ones, then this will probably satisfy you, if you don't mind my type of writing. I always have classic stories. I don't even try to do it. Umm, ya enjoy the story. Oh also please comment on any mistakes you see, and I will fix them and like and comment. I just said that. Ok, I am like talking to myself while I write this so ya. Like I said earlier, enjoy.😋🤓

I ran. My heart was beating fast like it always does on a chase. I heard a growl. Not looking back, I used the last bit of my energy to give myself a burst of power that may just let me escape. I zigzagged spreading my scent all over, so it was harder to follow. I even left a few false trails. They wouldn't catch me, and they never will, but I was starting to tire seriously. I had been running for a while. I wasn't sure of the time, but I knew I couldn't take it much longer. I listened closely to see if they were still behind me. I didn't hear anything, but that doesn't mean they weren't still there, for the things hunting me were expert hunters. After a few more minutes, I started to slow until I stopped. I turned around and stared into the forest. Nothing not even a shake of a branch from the wind. I had lost them.

My name is Artemis. I am one of the last free humans. My parents had escaped the slavery that the human race has been entrapped in for centuries. They had me a few years later. They never wanted to go back; to be slaves to the monsters that owned the human race. They never did for they killed when I was eight, ten years ago. I have been on my own since. I have now become an expert on how to stay alive and out of slavery. What are the monsters that we are slaves to? What were the things I was running from? The answer is simple. Werewolves.
