I finally made it out of the outer tree-line! I was free! I knew they wouldn't find me for a while if I wasn't in the forest. I was free - free from the elves - free from the spiders - free from him!
I was still running. It felt like I had been running for months, but it had only been - according to the sun - only one day and 11 hours. My legs felt exhausted, but I continued to run.
