It's been a week since the day Lauren killed that man. Now it's time for her and Mike to go back to the house. Honestly, Lauren was scared to see the dead body of the life she took. Tracey gave her a good luck hug. Then Lauren have her father a hug. "Be careful." He says sternly and Lauren nods her head. Lauren's father also hugs Mike. After pulling away, Lauren's dad grabs Mike firmly by the shoulders. "Listen, I know my daughter loves you and you also love her. You have all my blessings because you are a nice young man. Just keep my daughter safe, okay?" Mike nods his head. "Yes, sir." Lauren's dad pulls out a pocket watch and gives it to him. "I want you to have this. My family passes it down to the next generation of boys whenever they find the love of their life. I don't know how long her life will be, so you might be it. Even if she does live long, I have a great feeling about you." He hands the pocket watch to Mike. Mike looks down at it and then to Lauren who was laughing and talking to Tracey. He smiles at her and then takes the watch. Lauren's dad pats him on the back. Mike smiles and then hugs Lauren from behind. She gasps but then laughs. Her laugh was the most beautiful thing that Mike has ever heard. Lauren turns around and grabs Mikes cheeks and pulls him in for s kiss. He wraps his arms around her waist. Tracey cleared her throat. Mike pulls away. "Lets go." He says. Lauren nods her head. So off they went. They got to the house and it looked the same. They walked inside and Lauren started shoving supplies and other things into her book bag. "What's the rush?" Mike said. "I just don't have a good feeling about this place." Lauren replied. Mike looked around and then nodded. Lauren opened a door and out came someone with a gun and more people with guns and knives. "Well..Well....well." The large man said. "I am Eli. I believe you killed one of my men." The man, apparently Eli, said. Lauren took a step back and Mike walked toward her. "You'll pay." Eli said and glared at Lauren. The harsh stare sent chills down her spine. Lauren glanced to the left and saw the stairs. She pushes Mike out and slams the door behind her. Mike blocks the door while Lauren runs ahead. Mike runs very close behind here. They both ignore Eli screaming at them. All Lauren could make out was "We'll find you! You just got yourself in deep shit!" Lauren and Mike kept running, knowing that Eli and his group was close behind. Mike turned to the left and Lauren gave him a wired look. "That's the wrong way." She said. "Shortcut!" Mike whisper-yelled. Lauren just sighed and followed him. They came to a fence and Mike started climbing it with his girlfriend right behind him. The couple finished climbing and fell to the ground. They were breathing heavily. Mike looked over at his girlfriend and smiled. He reached for her hand. "I'll keep you safe." He whispered quietly. "I promise."
