Sierra walked to Jade Oak Library where she was going to look for information on what had happened last night. It was one of the only two libraries in the city. She entered and asked about tattoos and the government. Surprisingly, there was a restricted area for the government that only the librarian had access to or anyone who asked about the topic. She picked out a book , that was about overpopulation. It read, "The government of Crystaline uses special "tools" for their residents. Certain food is slightly coated with poison that is undetectable. In three days it will kill you."
She skipped ahead to the tattoos. "Tattoos in particular have special glowing ink. They cause the person to see the person or object they hate the most. They only interact for a few minutes or so, but the person can be projected as a ghost or an object. The ghost will ask to be helped and then will reveal its true identity."
The next page stated, "If the human does indeed touch the vial of "holy water," they will die. If the human does not fall for the trap then they will slowly go insane. But the person or object is usually only a hallucination. This is how Crystaline's government deals with overpopulation."
