She turned her head and looked at him, her lips puckered.
Josh let out a light laugh and pecked her lips.
"I'm gonna go get a drink. Do you want anything?" Josh asked.
"I'm kinda hungry." She told him.
"Okay," he replied. "I'll be right back."
She watched as Josh went into the house through the sliding glass door.
CJ stood up and stretched, her shirt falling off of her right shoulder. She took her hair down and ran her fingers though it, shaking it out. She hummed to herself as she adjusted her bikini top through her shirt.
"Hey," she heard a boy behind her whistle. "How do you feel about letting somebody leave hand prints on you?"
"Um," CJ turned around and looked him up and down. "I gotta go." She crossed her arms over her chest self consciously as she tried to go past him. She wanted to be in the protective presence of Josh.
"Not so fast, baby," he said with a smirk on his face. "Come here." He grabbed her arm and pulled her up to himself, their bodies pressing up against each other.
"Stop it." She clenched her jaw and began pushing at his shoulders, recalling how Josh always told her to fight if anything similar to her assault ever happened again.
"Come on," he grabbed one of her wrists and placed his other hand on her face. "Gimme a good time." He squeezed her cheeks, her lips unnaturally puckered. The boy put his lips to hers, forcing his tongue into her mouth.
CJ, instead of letting herself be defenseless, bit his tongue as hard as he could to get him away.
"What the hell!" The boy pulled away, covering his mouth. "You bitch!" He grabbed her by her shirt and pulled her closer. "You wanna be aggressive? I'll show you aggressive."
"Stop!" She tried to push him away, but she was far overpowered.
"Help me out," the boy turned his head to another group of guys. "Get the shirt off."
The guys obliged and surrounded her, tugging at her shirt, forcefully pulling it above her head.
"Get off!" CJ argued, both of her wrists being held. She felt multiple hands groping and slapping at every region of her body. She tried to pull her wrists away from their grasps to cover herself, but she was so scared. Her heart thumped in her chest at a hundred miles an hour, and it was not the good thumps that she got when she was with Josh.
It was not long before chants rang through her ears.
"Throw her in! Throw her in!"
CJ swore that everybody at the party was repeating it.
One boy grabbed her ankles, the other grabbed her wrist. They stood at the edge of the pool and swung her back and forth as they counted.
"One!"
"Two!"
At that moment, she saw Josh come out of the back door. He was holding two sodas and a plate.
