DESCRIPTION.

Avery Morgan grew up in a household where she was not welcome, her father ignored her existence while her mother was no where to be found. The only lights in her life were her siblings and her best friend. Her only escape from her father was work and still sometimes he'd show up there with his friends from work. He didn't have a real job, he would tell the twins that he did, but Avery knew what his actual job was, drug dealing. She wasn't stupid. She could practically smell the drugs the minute he pulled into their driveway, but yet he kept it a secret from the younger Morgans.

Her mother was another story, similar to her father in some ways, but yet completely different. She was a drug addict, heroine to be exact. Avery's earliest memory of her mother was walking in on her in the bathroom while she was shooting up. She didn't understand at the time what her mother was doing, but as she grew older she became well aware. A few months after that, she gave birth to the twins and then disappeared. Her mother had told her and her father to go home for the night, that she'd be fine with the twins, but when they arrived back in the morning she was gone. That's when Avery's father lost his mind.

Three months later he was out of a real job and the Morgan's nearly ended up on the street, her father, then, began to sell drugs. He made decent money, but he'd spend it all on himself rather than keep food on the table for his children who were nearly starving. She heavily relied on her best friend and his family to keep them fed. When Avery turned 13 she took matters into her own hands and got a part-time job washing dishes at a local diner. Nearly two years later she's one of the top waitresses at the joint.
