Chapter 7: The Surprise Visitor
Gerald’s POV
I am on my way home from Budoy’s cast party. We watched the last episode together. It was an overwhelming experience doing such kind of series. Very fulfilling in my part. I will miss everyone for sure most especially my character. Budoy paved a lot of opportunity for me kaya masayang-masaya talaga ako. My Baby girl didn’t forget to congratulate me earlier this morning, sabi nya she will watch daw ng last episode. For sure gising pa ‘yon, kakagaling lang din nya sa shooting ng movie nya so I decided to call her.
Ring…ring…
Ang tagal bago sagutin. Is she asleep? So I texted her instead.
To Baby girl:
I loooove uuu! Did u watch it? :)
No reply from her.
Nakauwi na rin at last… Nakakapagod pero fulfilling naman ang pakiramdam. I tried to call her again before I close my eyes, but it’s just ringing. Bakit kaya? I tried to call her plenty of times pero wala pa ring sumasagot. So I texted her again.
To Baby Girl:
What’s wrong? Y r u not answering?
I waited kung may reply pero wala pa rin. Medyo nakakatampo ah. It’s supposed to be a happy night but no reply whatsoever from her. So I decided to close my eyes na lang dahil naaantok na ko. Baka sobrang pagod lang sya. Shooting a movie is so tiring.
I woke up at around nine, the first thing I did is to check my phone. Surprisingly there is no reply. What’s the problem? She never texted me since yesterday. What’s wrong with her? I decided to call their homephone, sumagot ang Yaya nila, sabi tulog pa daw. So tulog pa sya? Sige I will just surprise her. I will go to their house to see her. While I am preparing to go their house, my handler Ate Nhila called me. I am being asked to go to ABS and may special meeting daw with the bosses and hindi pwede i-resched. I have no choice but to go to ABS so I texted her “Good Morning” na lang. I hope this would be enough for now then I went off to ABS.
