"Nothing." Jaime gathered her things, she shoved her things inside her bag and left the Great Hall, with just a piece of toast for breakfast. Hermoine glared at Harry, she knew why Jaime was in a bad mood and she was sure it involves Harry and Draco.

"What did you do?" Hermoine demanded an answer from Harry.

"Nothing." Harry said, defensively.

"She wouldn't be pissed like that if you didn't do anything!"

"How sure are you it was me?"

"We saw you and Jaime earlier, you both had a row – you were glaring at Malfoy..." Ginny drank from her goblet of pumpkin juice.

"He was the one who's glaring – besides, why are you both defending Malfoy anyway?"

"We're not defending him! It's Jaime we're concerned about." Hermoine stated.

"Oh really, then please enlighten me how is it that Jaime cares if I was glaring at Malfoy, why for the past days she's been at his side, why she always slip out at night with my Invisibility Cloak?"

"She still goes after curfew?" Hermoine turned to Ginny.

"Yes, she does." Ginny muttered.

Harry was confused as the two girls argue about something he didn't know, but there was one thing he do knows, it concerns Jaime.

"What do you mean by 'She still goes after curfew'?" Harry asked, he was getting impatient with what was happening. Hermoine and Ginny were unsure, they were having a debate on if they should tell Harry about what's been happening to Jaime since the start of the term. Hermoine then made up her mind, she pursed her lips hen said, "Just promise to keep a level head."
Hermoine placed a Muffliato spell around them and told Harry everything, from the first detention Jaime had with Malfoy, to their small tutoring sessions, Jaime's sudden friendship with Draco and Theodore, Jaime's sneeking out of curfew to teach Draco and Theodore about casting a Patronus, then of course the shocking part when Jaime went to Slughorn's party with Draco as her date and of course, as much as Ginny didn't want Hermoine to tell Harry, Hermoine told Harry about their bet with McLaggen – no, Seamus' bet with McLaggen that Seamus got them involved in.

"Are you saying Jaime fancies Malfoy?" Harry's voice boomed, hopefully not much heard it, but Ginny knew how word comes and goes in Hogwarts and she wouldn't be surprised if this already spread in the whole student body.

"There is a possibility." Hermine said.

"Actually..." Ginny pursed her lips, "She does... she told me."

"What?" Hermoine and Harry were shocked.

"She told you and didn't tell me?" Hermoine said, hurt was heard from her voice.

"It was during our Herbology class -- about a week ago -- she was in deep thought, so I asked what she was thinking, then she just said 'I think I fancy Draco Malfoy' so I asked what happened – I promised not to tell a soul, I'm so sorry Ginny, I was planning on telling you, but she was still not sure, until a few nights ago..."

"What? What happened?" Hermoine asked.

"Jaime – Malfoy kissed Jaime." Ginny blurted out.

"WHAT?" Harry and Hermoine were blown off in the sudden news.

"Only at the cheek!"

"How- how can she just forgive him like that!" Harry said.

"Harry, Malfoy has changed – and I think it's because of Jaime's influence." Hermoine said.

"He's just guilty! What he's feeling is just guilt – he can't forget what happened last year, what he did to Jaime, so he's acting nice just to get that guilt feeling- "

"Harry, that's enough, you don't know what's going on for the past months, and you haven't seen how Jaime is happy with Malfoy and Nott! Jaime already forgave Malfoy – I don't know why, but she did!"

"Hermoine, he used the Cruciatus Curse on Jaime!" Harry roared, "He's the reason why Jaime's still broken inside – "

"But can't you see that Malfoy's fixing it! He's fixing what he's done – and I don't believe its just guilt why Malfoy's doing this."

"Keep your voices down – both of you." Ginny said.

"How sure are you? Have you spoken to Malfoy about that?"

"NO! But if you just stop thinking that Malfoy's still a threat then maybe you will see it – Harry, it's not our life to meddle with, and it's Jaime's life! It's her choice."

Harry felt cheated, cheated by his own sister, he can never forgive Draco for what happened – he could still hear Jaime's cries every night! Harry had enough; he undid the spell around them and left the Great Hall with Ginny calling for him.

"HARRY!"

Harry acted like he didn't hear Ginny's call, he was still angry.

At the Slytherin table, Draco saw what happened at the Gryffindor table and he knew that this concerned him. Draco sighed and ran his fingers through his hair in frustration, he knew that with Harry around, he can't talk to or even look at Jaime, if he did – he'll be dead. But he needs to speak to Jaime now, he has to tell her about what happened to them a few nights ago, his small kiss! He knew that what he did made Jaime a bit distracted for some times and a bit distant from him, even though he knew that Jaime fancied him (Draco found out from Theodore – Theodore heard from a couple of Hufflepuffs talking about Ginny and Jaime's conversation during Herbology class) and he knew that Jaime know that she fancies her – the kiss was a big give away.

"Seems like the Potters had a row earlier." Theodore sat beside Draco, and started to eat his cereal.

"What'd they row about?" Draco asked, even though he knew why the Potters argued were arguing.

"You of course... Jaime wasn't happy when her brother's glaring at you. Potter wants to hex you now."

Draco groaned, as much as he still hates Harry Potter, he cares for Jaime and he knows that Jaime loves Harry with all her heart, and he didn't want to be the cause of the sibling's constant arguments. Harry is Jaime's only family left – as Jaime is to Harry, so Draco knew how much the siblings' bond were.
