Life
Love
It doesn't come
Not even in rhymes
All I can see
Is devastated brainstorms
And a broken heart
Why can't I decide?
I can't think
I can't even speak
It usually comes so naturally to me
Writer's block?
It can't be that I'm tired
It's not that I'm not smart
No, I am not constipated
Could it be...my heart?
I feel them returning
My lines, my rhymes
Because I'm sure why I'm hurting
Is way beneath, inside
I must be missing...someone? Something?
Most likely someone
Friends? Family?
Probably neither one...
Is it? Could it be?
My everlong crush?
I told myself I wouldn't grieve
It wouldn't be too much
I think...it must be!
My inspiration be him
If ever I need an idea,
He'll lead me therein
My inspiration lies with a boy
I've decided to trust and love
I don't think he knows it yet,
But where my inspiration comes from
Is that cute smirk

That smile
