Caught by a Beast [GxG]

Uncertainty instantly unfurls over Andy's face as she feels her slight inclination. She wants to smile because, for innumerable times, she's right again.

It doesn't take long for Andy to nod. "I... I'm bisexual." She confessed while looking down.

She's not surprised that good girls like Andy sometimes preferred a contrasting sexual orientation. But being with the girl for quite some time, it's obvious that Andy is pickier than her. She couldn't believe she is bisexual. Nonetheless, she's glad that Andy entrusts her with a secret but she also feels bad for her.

Kahit hindi naman nito sabihin, alam niyang nagtatago pa rin ito sa mata ng mga mapanghusgang tao.

She moves closer to her and gently kneads her back. "Bakit ka malungkot?." She asked, even though she knows the answer.

"Now that you know my secret, should I expect this would be our last time being friends?"

"You're ridiculous, Andy! Bakit mo nasabi yan?"

"I had a friend. We were so close so I trusted her. Sinabi ko sa kanya ang sekreto tungkol sa pagkatao ko. Akala ko okay lang sa kanya kasi kapag napag-uusapan namin ang ibang taong katulad ko ay okay lang naman siya. Hindi ko alam na okay lang sa kanya ang ganitong pagkatao basta hindi siya involved. She exposed my identity and that was the start of my misery."

Her thoughts are quite similar.

Alam nyang may hindi na magandang napagdaanan si Andy pero hindi niya expected na exposed na pala ang sekreto nito, kaya hindi na niya masasabing sekreto pa iyon. Ganonpaman, hindi magbabago ang tingin niya sa kaibigan.

Andy is so kind, she deserves all the love and kindness in the world. And she will try her best not to make her feel less. "I'm still your friend, remember that. Kahit ano pang sekreto ang ibunyag mo, hindi magbabago ang pagkakaibigan natin."

"Kahit pa sabihin ko sayong inilibing ko ng buhay 'yong taong nagpakalat ng sekreto ko?" 

She pokes Andy's face. "Siraulo ka." 

They both laugh before Andy moves closer to embrace her. "Thank you, Lara. I'm so sorry if I had to hide it from you."

"I understand. Pero tandaan mo, kung ano man ang mga bagay na gusto mo i-open up sakin, willing akong makinig at umintindi."

TODAY is the day for the New Students' Orientation.

Maagang tinapos ang klase ng lahat para makapunta na ang mga bagong estudyante sa auditorium. Subalit marami-rami pa rin ang wala kaya pina-check niya sa tatlong kaibigan ang buong RDGU. Kung gagamitin mang excuse ng mga estudyante ang orientation para gawin ang nais gawin ng mga ito, may nakalaan na siyang parusa para sa mga iyon.

Naghintay pa sila ng halos bente minuto bago dumating ang mga kaibigan niyang kasama ang mga estudyanteng tila ba sinundo ng mga ito. Magbibigay siya ng memo para sa mga latecomers at sa mga hindi na talaga pupunta, tinitiyak niyang may kalalagyan.

Lumabas na siya ng stage at inayos ang mikroponong nasa podium. "Guess we have to start now. We don't have the entire day to wait for those who don't want to be here." 

Tumahimik ang mga estudyanteng medyo nag-iingay bago siya magsalita. Nakuha na niya ang atensyon ng mga ito.

"Okay, good afternoon. I am Arq, the Vice-Chancellor of RDGU. I have important things to say but first allow me to give a moment for the University Chancellor, Greco de Graciaz." 

Everybody offers a round of applause for Greco through her lead. The Chancellor walks up to the podium as soon as she turns around. Her friend carries a sly smile on his face, which conveys what exactly is going around on his cunning head. She takes one of the executive seats behind the podium with Brenan, Elijah, and other administrative staff.
