I pick Serena up and start to walk out the alleyway.
"A-Ash, you can p-put me down. I-I'm fine." "You're not Serena, you need to rest."
I feel Serena shuffle a bit in my arms but she does listen eventually.
I run down the broken walkways, looking for a secure building right hide in.
I eventually find a shoe shop that only has cracked windows so I race inside.
I carefully place Serena down on a small chair.
I quickly check Serena's legs, arms and face to see how much damage Dark Serena has done.
Gladly, Serena only has a small gash in her arm so I rummage through the draws and eventually find a first aid kit to treat Serena.
As I finish wrapping the bandage around her arm I hear a giggle from outside.
"You know that you can't hide from me. Cause I'll just find you again."
She smashes all the windows and blasts open the door as I throw myself and Serena to the floor.
Her laugh become more wild as she sees us helpless on the floor.
"You're useless compared to me. I don't even know why you try. Unless you want to die quicker that is."
Her grin widens and the sanity from her eyes disappear.
She tilts her head sideways and forms some sort of orb in her hands.
"Bye bye Ash Ketchum."
I see the orb leave her hand and come flying towards me.
I feel my memories flash back to me.

"Serena be careful!" I say as I rush over and push the tree that was about to fall on top of her.
"Serena, please tell me before your going to push a whole tree by yourself." "Ok I'm sorry Ash."
She bows her head a bit and looks away from me.
I push her chin up.
"It's ok Sere, just be more careful ok."
I give her a big grin and she smiles back at me.
"Now let's get this Christmas tree decorated!"
I shout, fist bumping the air.
I hear Serena giggle.
"Ok"
She gives me a kiss in the cheek and then starts to hand me some decorations.
This Christmas is going to be amazing.

I see the ball grow larger and larger as it comes closer and closer to me.
I close my eyes and brace myself for the pain.
I hear the orb explode but then nothing.
I feel nothing.
I shoot open my eyes to see Serena beside me, completely unconscious.
I feel my heart shatter.
"No Serena. NOOO!!!!!!!"
I throw myself at her and cradle her in my arms.
"She's so stupid. Why the hell would she protect you and use her own life. Imbecile." I hear Dark Serena say behind me.
I feel anger fill my body.
"SHUT UP!!"
Dark Serena steps back from me and looks at me in surprise.
"Can't you see that my girlfriend is on the brim of death and maybe already dead!!"
I felt tears fall down my face.
"Can't you just be respectful for once!"
Dark Serena sighs and looks away from me.
"Thankyou."
I look down to Serena and my tears drop onto her face.
"You were so young, you had so much to live for. But it was ended. Gone forever. You're eyes shone like diamonds and your smile blew me away and I love with all my heart. Have a nice time in heaven..."
At this moment I was breaking down, my breathing uneven and my eyes red.
"I'll leave you for now."
I hear Dark Serena say before the remains of the door slams shut.
I place my hand onto her heart to feel it was hardly moving.
More tears roll down my face.
I know that once Serena's heart stops it's gone for good.
No one apart from Tony and Serena's dad know how to fix her heart and they both hate her.
