Emiko's Point of View
I mentally sigh as I held Kiba's hand.
"So, are you going on a mission?", I ask Kiba.
"Yeah, and are you ready to ask Lady Hokage?", Kiba questioned.
"Yeah.....", I respond quietly.
We walk to the Hokage's building silently and opened the door.
I saw Shikamaru, and I immediately looked to the floor.
Shikamaru turned around and looked uncomfortable.
"I'll be on my way now Lady Hokage," Shikamaru said quickly as he left the room.
Lady Tsuande sighed,"Ever since last week, Shikamaru has always wanted to get out of the village, I wonder why....."
Lady Tsuande saw Kiba and greeted,"Hello Kiba, I suppose you're here for your mission,"
"Yes, and a request," Kiba smiled slightly.
"Which is?", Lady Tsuande asked curiously.
"Lady Tsuande," I said,"May I please be a ninja?"
Lady Tsuande looked curious and I continued,
"I have past experiences, I would consider myself a Chunin,"
"This is true Lady Tsuande, I have seen her spar, and she is very good at ninjutsu," Kiba persuaded.
"Normally, I would wait until the Chunin exams, but I trust you Kiba," Lady Tsuande smiled,"You will receive your first mission, with Kiba,"
"Thank you Lady Tsuande," I bowed.
"No problem," She assured.
Kiba and I left the room and walked out the building.
"So, you excited?", Kiba asked.
"Of course!", I said with fake enthusiasm.
"Great! Are you sure you don't want to stay at my house?"
"No, I'm fine,"
"Are you sure? I know you're uncomfortable with Shikamaru,"
I freeze,
"I'll be okay,"
"Alright, bye! See you tomorrow!", Kiba waved with a smile.
"Bye!" I said as well.
Yoshino's Point of View

I was washing the dishes with no thought until I heard the door open.
