"So.... Um.... Wanna d-do this a-again sometime?", Kiba asked nervously.

"Sure!", I said.

"Alright, are you sure you don't want me to walk you home?", He asked with concern.

"I'll be fine," I said with a smile.

"Alright! Good night!", Kiba waved with a closed-eye grin.

"Bye!", I exclaim.

I turn around as I think to myself,'What was Shikamaru doing there?'

'Who was that girl?'

'Are they dating?'

'Why didn't Shikamaru tell me?'

'Does he feel uncomfortable telling me?'

'Do I like Shikamaru?'

'Of course not! He's only a friend, nothing more!'

'I guess I'll keep quiet about their relationship for now, I don't want to be intruding,'

"*sigh* I guess Shikamaru won't mind if I date Kiba right?'

Shikamaru's Point Of View

I said bye to Temari and rushed to my room.

I thought quickly of my situation.

'Why was Emiko with Kiba?'

'Are they dating?'

'Why didn't Emiko tell me?'

'What if Emiko saw me?'

'No, that's impossible,'

'Why is it Kiba of all people?'

'Will I ask her tomorrow?'

'Or today?'

'Whatever, it's not like Emiko is actually gonna consider him,'

It was the weekend and I was talking with the other Jounin.

"Hey, it's pretty quiet out here without the kids," Kakashi sighed.

"Hey!", I exclaimed as I remembered,"I saw Shikamaru in a romantic restaurant!"

"What?!?! Really?!!?!", Kurenai said, surprised.

"Who was he with?", Kakashi asked,"Did she have red hair?"

"No, it was the sand ninja, the kazekage's older sister," I answered.

"Really? Okay...", Kakashi mumbled.

"Do you think he's actually gonna commit to something other than sleeping?", I joked.

"Wait, why were in the restaurant in the first place?", Kakashi questioned.
