Google's POV
I sigh in relief to see it's just Andy, but I tense when I see Ryan. He gives me a look of distrust.
"Andy?" I look to her, confused. She looks at Ryan then back at me.
"Don't worry, I explained what's happening, he won't do anything," she says to me, "he's actually going to help fix you." She explains and I relax.
"Oh," I say to all that and look at Ryan, "thank you." He gives me a curt nod and turns to Andy.

"I'm going to wait outside, come out when you're ready," he gives me a quick glance before leaving, closing the door behind him. I move to Andy and put my hands on her shoulders.
"Are you okay?" I ask her, concerned. She places her hand on my cheek and gives me a small smile.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?" She replies.

"Your heart rate increased when you mentioned fixing me, you can tell me," I lean forward, wrapping my arms around her waist and hugging her. She brings her arms up and hugs me closer.
"I'm just...worried. A lot can go wrong when doing this..." she says, squeezing me tighter, "you might lose your memory and forget all about us, or your personality might change or-" I stop her from talking by kissing her hard on the lips, she kisses back just as hard and I hold her closer to me.

We kiss for a while and she separates for air. I lean my forehead against hers.
"I'll be fine, Andy. You and Ryan are professional engineers, you won't make any mistakes," I whisper to her. She nods and moves her head back to look up at me.
"I won't make any mistakes," she says to me and I lean down and give her a lingering kiss on the forehead.
"Good," I say to her, taking her hand and moving out the door.

Andy's POV
After entering the basement, you ask Google to lay on the table in the middle of the room. He does what you say and lays down. You walk to him and touch his warm cheek, he looks up at you and gives you a reassuring smile.
"I'll be fine," he says and holds your hand to his cheek. You nod, but still feel worried.
I won't make any mistakes.

Ryan walks over, carrying a tray with different tools and places it on a little table next to Google. He looks between you and Google and smiles.
"So cute..." he says to himself, but you hear it anyway and blush.
"We need to shut you down before we begin, just so you know," you say to Google and he nods.
"I figured that, I'll shut down for you," he says to you and you smile slightly at him.
"Thanks," you say, then move away from him as he looks up at the ceiling.

"Love you," He says and you smile at the ground before looking over at him.
"Love you too," you reply and see Ryan in the corner of your eye being all happy. Then there's a whirring sound as Google closes his eyes, shutting down. You sigh and bend the light over Google's chest, starting the procedure.

5 hours later

You and Ryan have finished and both sit on the couch in the corner of the room. You lean your head back and groan. You're really tired, hungry as fuck and hoping really hard that this works.
"I hope this works," Ryan mutters to you, you yawn and nod in agreement.
"Same," you say and Ryan leans forward and sighs.
"I'm going to make some coffee, want any?" He asks, looking over at you.
"Yup, please," you answer and he gets up, "three sugars and cream." You say as he moves to the stairs. He looks back with a smile.
"I know, silly," he says and goes up the stairs.

You smile and lay down on the couch with a sigh. You get comfortable and turn on your side, looking at Google on the table. You close your eyes for a moment, relaxing into the couch. You start to doze off, but wake up when someone says your name. You open your eyes and see Ryan, you didn't even hear him come down the stairs. He says something, but you don't hear him.

"Wha?..." You say sleepily, yawning. Ryan shakes his head at you.
"I said we're out of milk," he says, then puts his hand on your forehead, "I think you might be getting sick, maybe you should get some sleep..." You nod weakly and rub your eyes.
"K..." You mumble, trying to get up. Ryan takes hold of your arm, helping you up.

"How much sleep did you get last night?" Ryan asks as you barely stand up. You're too tired to think.
"I dunno..." You mumble as Ryan guides you to the stairs.
"Not enough it seems..." Ryan says, stopping you at the bottom of the stairs.

"Did you get any sleep the night before?" He asks, looking at you. You feel bad, because you remember staying up all night working, but you did fall asleep at your desk for a few hours yesterday.
"Not really..." You mutter and Ryan sighs.

"You need to take better care of yourself, your health is more important than your work Andy," he says angrily, but with concern. You go to say something about this work being really important, but Ryan gives you a look and you stop.
"Okay..." You agree and Ryan nods, helping you up the stairs.

He guides you through the living room to the second set of stairs and you groan, slumping onto the steps.
"Can I just lay on the floor?" You ask hopefully. Ryan shakes his head.
"No, you can't," he says, putting his arms under your legs and back, "come on." He says and picks you up. You lean your head on his shoulder as he carries you up the stairs and close your eyes. This feels familiar.
"Google..." You mumble sleepily and Ryan chuckles.
"Oh, you love sick girl..." he mutters.

He enters your room and places you on your bed. You open your eyes slightly as Ryan covers you with the blanket.
"Now try and get a solid eight hours, please?" He pleads.
"Uh huh..."You say, yawning and Ryan sighs again.
"How many times have I done this now? I've lost count," he says, "look, I know this job is important, finding a way to save soldiers lives, but don't let it take over your life. I don't want you to become so sick, that you can't be fixed..." he then pats your arm and stands up. "I gotta go, call me if you need anything, okay?" You nod and he leaves, quietly closing the door behind him. You close your eyes and drift off.
