Kiss me, that your breath
May invade my lungs
And bring new life
To a tortured soul.
Touch me
Bring warmth to skin
Long cold
Through indifference.
Speak to me,
So your words
May permeate
This lost and lonely soul.
Have the courage
To place your trust
Within this empty heart,
And I shall love you in return.
