"So that brings me to the conclusion, that nothing in this world can be forgotten." I finish hearing claps by the other student, and I immediately sit back down.

"Okay, Mr. Witwicky, you're up." He announces and looking forward to see Sam going up, I give a thumbs up to him. He chuckles slightly and I wait for his presentation.

"Sorry I got a lot of stuff.." He empties out his backpack, I giggle slightly.

"For my fam---"

*Flick*

"Who did.. Who did that? People! Responsibility." He points at us and I look around but no one came forward. Typical. My guess it would of been the jock, Trent. Silence came as the teacher sits back down giving Sam a nod to continue on.

"So, for my family genealogy report, I decided to do it on my great-great-grandfather, who was a famous man, Captain Archibald Witwicky. Very famous explorer." I smile at him before seeing a note on my desk, turning around to see Trent looking at me. I roll my eyes and directed my attention to Sam. Slowly crumpling the note to shove it in my pocket.

"In fact, he was one of the first to explore the Arctic Circle, which is a big deal. In 1897, he took 41 brave sailors straight into the Arctic Shelf. So that's the story, right?" Sam pauses slightly before looking around for another object

"And here we have some of the basic instrumental and tools used by 19th-century seamen." The way Sam pronounced 'seamen' wasn't very good, because the class burst or laughing before being silenced.

"This here is the quadrant which you can get for 80 bucks. It's all for sale, by the way. Like the sextant here." The class laughs leaving them to be silenced once more, I smile slightly.

"$50 for this, which is a bargain. These are pretty cool. These are my grandfather's glasses." Sam shows us it to see small markings on the lenses.

"I haven't quite gotten them appraised yet, but they've seen many cool things."

"Are you going to sell me his liver?" The teacher spoke up leaving Sam to lower his glasses.

"Mr.Witwicky, this isn't show and sell. Its the 11th grade. I don't think your grandfather would be particularly proud of what you're doing." I bite my lip slightly before hearing Sam sigh

"I know. I'm sorry. I just, you know this is all going towards my car fund. You can tell your folks. It's on eBay. I take PayPal. Cold hard cash works, too." Sam continues leaving me to try to signal him not to continue on.

"And the compass makes a great gift for Columbus Day."

"Sam!"

"Sorry. Um, unfortunately, my great-great-grandfather, the genius that he was, wound up going blind and crazy in a psycho Ward, drawing these strange symbols and babbling in about some giant ice man that he thought he discovered." Sam chuckles before the bell interrupts his speech. We all stand up and packing up.

"Okay. Might be a pop quiz tomorrow. Might not. Sleep in fear tonight.." The teacher announces as I walk up to Sam.

"Here, you want it? Here, 50. 40? 30?" I cover Sam's mouth.

"Sam."

"Sorry." He apologizes as I uncover his mouth, smiling slightly.
