She was so beautiful but to her she was so imperfect.
Her eyes shined liked the sun, she was loved.
Her mind was so messed up,
She painted a picture on her wrist with a blade.
How could someone so perfect have so many insecurities?
This girl was something extraordinary,
Yet many made her feel below ordinary.
She hugs her pillow tighter as she's falling apart
Crying her self at night
Her wide smile fooled everyone
She was broken inside
Her internal cries screamed out in the silence
She hides from the angry voices she was told to trust
She'll try to remember who she was once before she died
Maybe not through the exterior but in the interior she wasn't there
She tries every night but she can't keep going
It's beyond her own will
She looks up at the sky and wishes to fly
Freely without anymore insults
"Everything is gonna be alright." she whispers to her self
Believing this was such a hell
She just wanted to feels something,
she sat there on her bed thinking about all the horrible things those girls said
Hot steaming tears rolled off her cheeks.
So lost and scared
all by herself
in an unknown land.
She can't change her vile past.
She cries out, "What did I do to deserve this?"
All she needed was a helping hand
All she needed was a friend
Her heart was in pieces and before to long...
she drew her boundary line
and held on to her life.
She slowly gave up,
she wouldn't wake up
if only the knew her pain
the would feel the same or maybe they would change.
She thought everything was done for her
she didn't know what else to believe.
So tired of the tears
waiting for someone to hear.
"I'm sorry but this is my fate. No one seems to want me to stay. I'm not worth any tears." she whispers
She just wants to disappear
But there's someone who takes her hand.
and places flowers on her head.
she'll never feel the same.
She'll be okay
Her smile will be real
All her scars will heal.
No more tears.
She's the girl with flowers on her head.
