Chris:
"Chris, you want anything?"
Asked Daniel, prancing through the room like a maniac. He probably served one too many cups of coffee. This morning was mundane, unoriginal, and flat out stupid. "Anything at all?" Daniel said, with some sort of energetic tone.
I replied, still exhausted from yesterday's history lesson.
"I'm okay."
"Suit yourself!" Daniel said, pouring down his throat a box of Cheerios. I've never seen him eat so much in such little time, being bone thin.
I got up, doing my daily routine, which consists of brushing my teeth, eating breakfast, then brushing then sit down and think about literally nothing. My head is a clean slate. I exited our dorm, only to hear Adan's siren-like laugh, triggering some sort of state emergency. It makes me want to shove a sock down his throat.
"HEEHEEEHEEEEEEEEEEE!" It sounded like an apocalypse was starting. He slowly started dying, it sounded painful to be honest. Antonio, a tall person, about 6 foot 4, peered his head out the door, ready to shoot someone
"SHUT THE **** UP YOU LITTL-" His roommate pulled him back in before he could say anything. Adan stopped in his tracks, running around like a dinosaur.
"Okay," He said frowning, he walked back somewhat depressed. Man. When I entered college, I thought people were going to act somewhat, mature. I was more than clearly wrong. I walked down the hall, looking each direction to discover some new stain on the wall, or new crack in the ceiling. College was crazy, but fun. I kept walking, only to see Alejandro, walking like a penguin, awkwardly shy. I felt bad. He looked up.
"Oh h-h-hey Chris!" Alejandro looked at me, but all I could do was sit there. Me and the group, Daniel, my roommate, Alejandro, Taylor, Victor, and Isaiah. The squad. All of them greet me, vigilantly, as if they were suspicious. It was weird. We walked to our first class, like sitting ducks, prey to any jocks walking even relatively near us. We had to watch out for toilet paper rolls, and even footballs.
"Man! Screw this! I'd rather burn this place down," Victor literally doesn't care for education. The only reason he is here, it's because his parents had him decide between Military School or College. I would have chosen Military School, being right next to a bunch of sweaty guys, wannabe Call of Duty characters. I hated school ever since I went to grade school; the only upside to going is getting to meet my friends, I guess.
"I really don't wanna go in there!," that's what she said, literally. Taylor procrastinates going into Mr. Johnson's boring history class. It's full of, 'engaging' curriculum. She basically teaches us like 4th graders. 'Today class we're going to learn about pilgrims!' 'Where does turkey come from!'
"Come on! See you guys at lunch!", Daniel pushes Taylor into history, while the rest of us continue going down the hall. The squad was slowly breaking up, branching off in each direction, a horrible torture room, each way we look in. Even though i'm pretty sure most of us sleep through the torture part...
