Chapter 29.

Ross' POV
I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing, but by the time I got up to answer I had missed the call. I decide to go to the bathroom and brush my teeth before I ring back, to wake myself up a bit, once I done that I checked my phone to see who had called it was mr Palio, I quickly swipe right to call him back
Mr Palio-"hello is this lynch?"
Me-"yes sir it is"
Mr Palio-"it's about the interview yesterday with your sister!"
Me-"uh huh, is everything ok?"
Mr Palio-"yes more than ok"
Me-"what do you mean?"
Mr Palio-"I think you'll be happy to hear that Ice decided I'm going to hire Riley"
Me-"your kidding"
Mr Palio-" nope, if it's possible I would like her to start in 3 days"
Me-"yes of course, thank you"
Mr Palio-" yes yes, goodbye"
He hung up
I can't believe she got hired, she was so sure she messed it up, I can't wait to tell her
"Riley... riley" I shout walking into the bunks, I open her curtain but she isn't there, where could she be it's 8 am, I go to check hayes' but he isn't here either
"Rocky... Rocky get up, have you seen Riley?" I shake him to wake up
"What? No Ive been asleep" he groans
"Call her, will you? I'll go ask riker" I ask then leaving the room before he could say no
"Hey rik, have you seen Riley or Hayes there not here"
"Emm no, but I'm sure there together and safe don't worry" he replies
Rocky came through,
"She left her phone here, I heard it ring" he pointed out
"Damn it"
"Why do you want her so bad anyway?" Riker asks
"Mr Palio just called, he hired her for the job" I proudly admitted
"That's amazing, she'll be so pleased why don't you tell her.... oh right yeah, I'm still tired" rocky states
"Yeah" I scarcastly respond
"Why don't you just phone Hayes?" Riker asks
"Okay, does anyone have his number?" I ask
"Yeah here" riker hands over his phone
I dial his phone
Hayes-"hello?"
Me-"hey it's Ross, are you with Riley?"
Hayes-"yeah, were not long out"
Me-"thank god, could you come back like now?"
Hayes-"yeah, I'm sorry we should of told you"
Me-" yeah you should have but as long as your both okay"
Hayes-" yeah we'll be back in like 10 minutes tops"
I hang up the phone

Hayes and Riley walk through the door
"Where have you been?" I ask calmly
"I just wanted to go out for a bit with Hayes that's all" she snaps
"You should of told us, or at least brought your phone" I answer
"Wait did you seriously drag us all the way back here for this?" She groaned
"No, I want to talk about mr Palio" I change the subject
"Ross I told you, I don't want to talk about it ok!" She storms off into her bunk
I follow after her
"No it's not..." she cuts me off
"I mean it, I don't wanna talk about it now go away" she snaps back
I decide just to let her alone and I'll tell her later

"So Hayes, did you two get breakfast while you were out" riker asks
"Yeah, she didn't want anything at first but she didn't look too good so I made her eat something, wait was that the right thing to do?" He speaks up
"Yeah, she tends not to eat when she's put under stress, thanks though" riker replies
"Yeah no problem" Hayes answered but I could tell he had no clue why he was being thanked

After about a half hour of riley throwing up, she finally come out from the bathroom
"Hey, you okay?" Ellington speaks up
"Do I look it? Del can I talk to you for a minute?" She replied they both step out of the bus.

Riley's POV
"What's up?" Del asks
"Em could I be pregnant?" I questioned
"no of course your not, you used protection... right?"
"Yeah, but I read that sometimes it doesn't work" I pleaded
"You've only did it once.... right?" She asks
"Yeah but I think I have morning sickness"
"Awk honey, you don't get that this soon, I promise, don't worry about it"
"Oh thank god, I'm so not ready" I reply
"How was it anyway" Rydel nervously asks
"How was what?"
"You know" she winked at me
"Oh, em it was good, he was so gentle, I can't believe I have him" I reply
"Awk your so cute"
We go to walk in again but Ross comes out
"Riley can we talk?" He asks
"Yeah"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah just nervous about that job"
"About that.."
"Ross I've told you I don't want to talk about it"
"No I know but I got a phone call
"WHAT? you did? From mr Palio?" I question
"Yeah" he then doesn't talk he just stands there pretending to think about something he's such a goof
"C'mon tell me"
"Okay okay, you got it, he wants you to start in 3 days, In his office"
"Wait here's one thing we never thought of, we don't live here and we're leaving tomorrow for Nashville?"
"I've got it covered, mom said she'll stay here with you until you get a proper job with him in L.A "
"Seriously! I'm so happy, thank you so much again your the best"
"I know I know, well just miss you by the time your done you'll be back at school so this is were you end on our tour"
"What no way, I love being with you" I start to cry
"Look don't cry, you won't be working 24/7 you can come out to see us then?" He states
"Plus we have that air show in a couple weeks"
"I suppose, this job is huge for my career" I hug him and we both head back in.

Everyone's been told apart from Hayes so I bring him into my bunk to talk
"Hayes can you come a second?" I shout in
"Oohhhhh your in trouble" Rocky cooed after him
"Oh shut up" I heard Hayes getting closer
"Hey babe what's up" he says while jumping onto the bunk
"So about the job... I got it" I admit
"Oh my god that's amazing right?" He replies
"Yeah, but he wants me to do this certain job here in New York and r5 are leaving tomorrow so me and my mom are staying in an apartment until he transfers me to L.A." I explain
"Oh em, I'm sorry I know how much you love being on tour" he replies
"Yeah but this could really start a career for me, I can't turn this down plus this will never just pop up again at the age of 16!"
"I know I'm completely behind you don't worry" he says while bringing me into a hug
"I was thinking you don't have to stay here you can go home if you want to or finish the rest of this your with r5 I'm sure they won't mind as you have all gotten close which I appreciate thank you by the way, you getting along with them means a lot" I ramble on
"It's not problem there really cool, and if it's okay I'd like to stay on tour with them? I think it's better for me?" He answers
"Oh erm sure" I reply
"I'm only joking, I'm staying here with you" he laughs
"Oh thank god" I pull him into a tighter hug
"I love you" he comments
"I love you too" I smile at the thought even though it was the first time he said it, I still melted inside
Rydel dramatically pulls back the curtain
"The L word, are you guys serious" I don't know if she was happy or disappointed
I just look up at Hayes and smile
"Omg you too are so cute, fav couple 'haley' sounds like a girls name but that's your ship name" she squeals now I  understand her tone
"We don't need to tell the boys just yet right? You can tell them when we aren't here" I smirk over at her
"Ughh fineeee" she walks away
"Oh I forgot to ask, you know the way I got those tickets to Belfast? I was wondering if you wanted to come?" I ask
"Yeah, me where is Belfast exactly?" He replies I have to laugh at him, he's so bad a geography
"Northern Ireland duhh"
"Oh okay, so Ireland?" He questioned
"Kinda there actually two different countries you see Ireland isn't in the u.k but Northern Ireland is" i bable on,
"I love the way your so smart and nerdy"  he roughs up my hair

"Hey Riley come out and sit with us, it's your last night" riker shouts in
"I'll be there in a minute" I shout back
"You coming?" I ask Hayes while jumping down from The bunk
"No I'll let you be with them, you'll be stuck with me for a while" he laughs
"You sure" he nods and I walk on through.
"What time are you's leaving tomorrow anyway" I ask and pulling out a glass to get a drink
"About 12 I think" Ellington answers
We end up just talking about their tour so far and what they have to come making me so jealous I wasn't staying but I'm so grateful for everything they have done, I decide to text Hayley about the news today it turns out she got the job aswell im now not as nervous about starting on Monday.
I checked the clock on top of the fridge and it was 4 am I can't believe we stayed up all that time just talking and laughing no wonder I'm shattered
"Guys I'm going to go to bed now, look at the time" I speak up
I hear a couple of "same" and "good night"
"Nighttt" I shout back on my way to bed.
