They all looked surprised but nodded. Tally continued. Since your a grimoire let's see if your independent or not. It's rare but some masters give grimoire's their life force so they can live like a mage and hide that way. Although we should hide your face.

Delia nodded and pulled out a black hoodie she always brought with her put it on and pulled the hood down and ducked her head so you could only see her face from the mouth down. Tally and Delia smiled at each other and Tally continued.

Now imagine your steady and not moving. Think of balance and your magic should activate them stand on the seat and face behind us so we can face the riders.

Delia nodded and closed her eyes. She blanked out the world imagined the world was still but still moving forward. Once she no longer felt like she was moving or the wind she opened her eyes. She stood easily on the back of the motorcycle and laughed uneasily. Tally laughed and smiled.

Now focus on something you want to happen. Start small I guess but just concentrate.

Delia breathed deep and calmed her nerves. She pictured how she wanted the next moments to go. Her eyes glowed purple with white dots like stars as she gracefully moved her arms. A light blue mist like water that was there but not quite there at the same time flew from her left and right. The waves crashed over the cars but didn't affect anyone but the riders. They swerved out of control and slammed into the dividers before flying of their bikes.

Delia protected the humans and pulled the waves back. She gasped as her body hummed with power. Her eyes faded back to their normal purple grey color and she was breathing heavily. She turned to Tally who's eyes were glowing red while fire flicked in her hand. She was staring at Delia with wide eyes and mouth wide open.

"Uhhh" Tally said then shook her flame out "That worked well. " Tally smiled. " Actually that was awesome." She jumped and almost fell of the bike. She yelped and quickly sat behind Lane and hugged his waist.  He laughed at her as Delia sat down and looped  her arms loosely around Drakes waist. He tensed again but not as bad as the first time. The boys exchanged devious looks when Drake spoke up.

"Delia can you give us another surprise?"

"Like what?"

"More speed or something." Lane said smiling.

Delia rolled her eyes. She closed her eyes and concentrated. When she opened them they were glowing purple and white again. Suddenly the boys whooped. The bikes kept going forward but they were zooming just above the cars. When Delia finally had to put the bikes down everyone was smiling like crazy.

They stopped at a forest and said they had to walk from here. Tally literally pushed the guys up front so she could talk to Delia.

"Ok so I need to talk to you about all this. There are many creatures out there and mages kill them off to protect humanity. Grimoire's help mages and are owned by them. But it's weird because if you were set free you should still have your memory. Also your eyes shouldn't be able to hide like that. My eyes are always red but when I use magic they glow. Yours should constantly be that color only not glowing. I don't understand why they aren't." Tally's face lit up" But oh my god your eyes are so pretty. Their light purple dark purple and light blue swirling with white specs. They literally look like the night sky when you can see the northern lights or whatever."

She gushed on for a while till she turned a little solemn. " one more thing. We have to talk to the head master about you. It's rare to find a free grimoire and usually their pretty powerful so we might have to hide your identity. Until you've found a master or partner mage your not safe. Eventually you'll have to bind to someone though or you'll loose your magic. Right now it's going to spike uncontrollably then it will start diminishing until your entire being dies or turns you into a normal human. We want to find you a good partner first. Someone you work well with." She looked at Delia and brushed some hair behind her ear. " I'll help you out around here ok? You can count on me. Plus I'll bully the boys into helping you. Trust me I know how to annoy them." She winked at her and skipped ahead.

She tapped on Lane's shoulder and said something to him. He nodded and she sighed in relief. Suddenly she was surrounded by a red mist and the next thing Delia saw was a red pendant necklace around Lane's neck. The boys continued walking with Delia trailing behind. The trees thinned out and they came to a clearing.

"We're here." Drake said casually putting his hands in his pockets.

Delia looked up and gasped.
