Prolouge: Renamon

When Renamon met Gulimon they were fast friends, they were only kids and couldn't understand that their fates had always been intertwined.

"Honey don't you think she's a little young to be making a decision like that?"
A small Renamon stood by the door listening to her parents
"We don't have a choice, it's either this or we'll be homeless, honey I hate this to but it's necessary for me, you, Renamon and the baby"

'Baby!' Renamon thought to herself

Renamon's father sighed
"Fine, at the age of eighteen Renamon will marry Gulimon..."

Rensmon gasped, her yellow fur tangled with anger

"WHAT!?!"

Renamon ran out of the room and bolted up the stairs and locked her bedroom door shut with her inside. She laid on her grey bed with a silver frame that shined when the light of the window to the left of her bed poked through, Renamon buried her head in her purple pillows and blanket. She sat there and cried for what felt like forever when, knock knock!

"Renamon please come out of there, we're sorry we didn't tell you sooner"

She heard her mothers words as if they were with out feeling of emotions. She had once enjoyed her mothers company, and found her words soothing, now they all felt heartless and emotionless.

"Go away!!!" Renamon's voice was muffled by the violet pillow

She heard what sounded like a sigh from the other side of the wall

"Dear, you know that we are having money issues, and that we can barley afford to keep this house let alone food and water, Gulimon's mother has afford us money, food, water, new clothes, clean silver wear, electricity. I am sorry that to get it we must put you and Gulimon through an arranged marriage. I never wanted that, but we... we just can't afford it I'm sor-" Renamon's mom was cut short

"What about the baby I heard about!?!"

Renamon screamed from the other side of the door, fury, we might be poor but we were happy, they ruined that happiness

"You heard that too, huh?"

Renamon let out an annoyed growl for yes I know so you better explain which was clearly taken by her mom

"Honey we were going to tell you but we thought you'd be happier if we-"

Again she was cut off

"I would have been happy if you told me this before I found out myself, I'm sorry but, I can't trust you, hope, trust, happiness they were all just an illusion you made, so leave me alone"

Her mother was taken back by the fact of how serious her daughter sounded. Renamon never sounded serious, she was always laughing and joking, but know...

"Rena, please come out here and look at me"

Her mother begged and begged, but it was no use

"GET OUT, I HATE YOU!"

Renamon screamed at the top of her little lungs, this truly has gone down hill from when she was a happy little trainee digimon.
