The lodge // Naylee

Chapter 2

"What took you guys so long?" Sean asked smirking at Noah and Kaylee when they got back to camp.

"We got lost." Noah tells Sean and puts the sticks they got next to the fire pit.

The others had gotten the tents set up will they were getting sticks. Kaylee walked up to the fire pit and sat on the ground, her mind was a train wreck at the moment, being alone with Noah made her see why she never wanted to leave the lodge but maybe going to the city would be good for her. Skye saw Kaylee looking down and she sat next to her.

"You okay?" Skye asked Kaylee.

"I'm great!" Kaylee lied and smiled at Skye, she knew that she would have to tell Skye sooner or later about leaving the lodge.

"Okay, I'm glad we all could get away this weekend." Skye told her and smiled, Skye had started planning this weekend a couple months ago.

"Me too." Kaylee told her smiling softly at the ground.

"Want to got for a walk?" Skye asks Kaylee.

"Just us?" Kaylee asked.

"Just us."

"Sure." Kaylee said and got up off the ground, Skye followed her. "How about us girls go for a walk."

"A walk?" Danielle asked in disbelief.

"Yes, it's something people do in the outdoors." Skye told Danielle and gave her a look.

"I guess I'll walk with you." Danielle answered and walked over to Skye and Kaylee.

Noah looked over at Kaylee and their eyes locked for a second, he smiled at her because he knew she didn't want to go on a walk with the two but she'd do it anyways.

"Well boys we'll be back." Skye said to Ben, Sean and Noah.

The three girls headed off into the woods at a steady pace, they talked on and off about random stuff till the topic of boys came up, Danielle and Skye were single because they gave up with Ben and Sean.

"So how about you Kaylee?" Danielle asked Kaylee. "Who do you like?"

Kaylee thought about her answer, could she tell them she liked Noah? Not right now. "I like Oz." She said kinda truthfully.

"Are you sure?" Skye asked because she didn't seem sure.

"Yeah." Kaylee said quietly.

They were walking on the side of a ravine that was probably 15-20  feet deep, Kaylee was walking next to it, she was trying not to look down because of her fear of heights.

"You don't sound sure." Danielle says and smiles.

"Come on it's just us you can tell us if you like." Skye's says and pushes her playfully with her shoulder.

Kaylee loses balance and her foot falls off the edge and into the ravine, she tried to grab onto Skye or anything but there was nothing but leaves to hold onto.

"Ah!" Kaylee screamed and her hold body started sliding down the ravine.

She hit the bottom hard, when she hit both her feet stung and she fell to the ground on her butt. She could tell that se definitely broke her ankle from hitting the ground, her shirts was covered in blood from her stomach scrapping against the wall on her fall down.

"Kaylee! Are you okay?!?" Skye yells from above.

Kaylee tried to reposed to her but she couldn't think straight, there was no why this was happening right? She was in complete disbelief that this just happened. Her stomach started to sting like someone was setting it on fire and her ankle felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer.

"Danielle! Go get the boys." Skye told Danielle frantically.

Kaylee laid her head against the cold rock will and she started the slowly drift asleep/pass out. Danielle ran back to camp as quickly as she could, when she got there Ben, Sean and Nowh were sitting around the fire talking.

"Danielle are you okay? If never seen you run." Sean jokes.

"It's Kaylee." Danielle says and Noah jumps from his place in the n the ground.

"What happened? Is she alight" Noah asks runs over to Danielle.

"I'll show you , she fell into a deep ravine." Danielle tells Noah and she can see the hurt in his  eyes........
