"Are you alright, Professor?" Hermoine asked.

"Yes," Professor Challis said, "Just out of breath, I've been looking for Ms. Potter and Ms. Weasely for a while, didn't think they'd be here – thought they'd still be in the common room – by the way, here are your schedules." Professor Challis handed Jaime and Ginny's schedules, "I'll be seeing you later... and I'm expecting big things from you three." Professor Challis then left them and went to her office.

"So, what's your first period?" Ginny asked, her eyes scanning her schedule.

"Transfiguration – you?" Jaime said.

"Same..." Ginny and Jaime then placed their schedules right next to each other and observed their similar classes.

"We have Potions together, as well as Defence against the Dark Arts." Jaime smiled.

"I have History of Magic with Slytherin at fifth period – you?"

"Arithmancy with the seventh years – looks like they merged some of the classes." Jaime said.

"Hey!" Ginny took Jaime's schedule, "Why do you have Alchemy?"

"I took it... thought it would be interesting." Jaime shrugged.

"Come on you two, it's almost our first period." Hermoine said then started to collect her books and bag, Jaime and Ginny followed her actions then left the Great Hall. Hermoine separated from Jaime and Ginny when they reached the top of the stairs, since she had Potions for her first period. On the way to their classroom, Jaime and Ginny were talking about the tryouts for the Quidditch team, until their conversation was stopped when Jaime ran in to someone.

"I'm so sorry!" Jaime said, she looked up to her person who she bumped in to and was shocked to even move or speak, it was Draco. Just like in the train, Draco and Jaime froze upon seeing each other. They didn't move nor did they speak, they just looked at each other as memories of last year flashed in their eyes.

Theodore noticed Draco's shock and tried to get his attention.

"Draco," Theodore placed a hand on Draco's shoulder, "Let's go, before Slughorn gets to the classroom before us."

Draco then nods, shakily, "Yeah, let's go." Then they left without another word.

Jaime followed Draco's back as he and Theodore left to go to their class. Ginny watched as Jaime kept her gaze on Draco, she was getting worried of Jaime's mental state now. Ginny knew about what happened to Jaime and she knew what the aftermath of it; she remembered Harry taking Jaime to St. Mungo's for the first two months after the battle in Hogwarts since she kept having nightmares.

"Come on, Jaime." Ginny grabbed Jaime's wrist.

"Right..."

Jaime and Ginny reached the classroom before McGonagall evenarrived; they were having Transfiguration with the Hufflepuffs. Jaime and Ginny sat at the front, right next to Benjamin Travers and Terence Moore, Benjamin's Hufflepuff friend. After a while McGonagall came in and their lesson started.
Class ended after McGonagall gave them homework, which was a roll of parchment of the difference of an Animagus and a Metamorphagus, which was due in the following week.

"It's just the first day and we already have homework!" Ginny whined as she and Jaime were about to leave the classroom.

"Hey, Ginny, you go ahead, I'm just going to ask Professor McGonagall something." Jaime said, Ginny was unsure of that but nods, "Alright, I'll see you later then." Ginny waved goodbye at Jaime then left. Jaime was left with McGonagall. McGonagall had her back turned at Jaime, she was fixing her table and erasing the writings on the board with magic.
