Chapter 1:

*Farah’s POV*

They say, a friend is someone who knows when to shout, and when to hold you in their arms and let you cry. This was exactly how my relationship was with my best friend, Laibah Sheikh. In just a small span of time, our bond grew much stronger. We knew every song of each other’s heart and would sing along with each other if one of us ever forgot it’s lyrics. Every time, she was there to wipe my tears and encouraged me to grow strong. She was the girl who everyone wants to be best friends with. Well, it was in her personality which made her stand out class. And no matter how terrible her day would be going, she always managed to smile.

I grabbed Zayn’s wrist to check the time, the flight was two hours delayed and because of me we were still at the airport since God knows when.

“Babe, should I get you any juice?” my lovely husband assured, as I leaned against the concrete pillar waiting for my bestie to get out of the luggage department. I shook my head, smiling back at him, "I’ll have something to eat or drink only when Laibah comes outside.” The thought of meeting my friend after so many months was making me really excited.

“What kind of an excuse is that, it’s my responsibility to take care of your health.. that little fella must be thirsty.” Zayn’s smile grew wide as he kept his arm around my waist. He soon signaled his bodyguard who was standing six steps away from us to bring me a glass of juice while he waited with me for my friend’s arrival.

It was really of no use to argue with him at the moment and I like how his attention has diverted more towards me since him and his band members have returned from their album promotions recently.

*Laibah’s POV*

Pushing my heavy trolley forward, I went through the gates of London Airport. A cool breeze touched my face, alerting all my senses. I joined the line which everyone was following to get out of the crowd; I looked around everywhere, finding two familiar faces, waiting for my arrival. As I moved my trolley towards them, I saw Zayn was busy teasing and slightly pulling Farah’s hair strands or kissing her temples.

Ignoring me as I walked pass by them. How dare they ignore me?! I decided to go behind and greet them. Turning my trolley with a tiny bit of increase in my speed this time, I hit my trolley on Zayn’s ankle pretty hard… well, that’s what you get when you pay no attention to Laibah Sheikh. When I need a welcome, all eyes and brains should be on me.

“Ouch!!! Look where you're going! You fo….” Zayn screamed in pain, turning around trying his level best not to yelp more in twinge. “Surprise!!” I smiled and went up to Farah and hugged her tight. Gosh! I missed seeing her. I soon noticed Zayn signaling someone on the other end and dragged my trolley, so we could get out of this place. I was greeted by Anthony, Zayn’s great friend. It was really nice meeting him but unfortunately he had to leave for his meeting…. Was I expecting any of the lads to turn up at the airport to receive me? A major part of me really wanted that to happen but then again, it doesn’t really matter ‘cause I’m only important to Farah and Zayn here. Well Zayn took full responsibility of me from my parents and brother to take care of me like a good elder brother. I quickly brushed the thought of meeting the lads here as a black Range Rover stood in front of me

It took me less than a minute to realize who was there at the driving seat, Louis Tomlinson. I saw him waving at me, his eyes crinkling while he smiled. I grabbed the corner of my jumper’s sleeve tight; looking at Farah who was busy staring at her hubby put my bag inside the car’s trunk. Somehow, I was really surprised to see Louis and that also with his own car…for me? I started blushing at my own crazy imagination when Farah grasped my hand and we quickly scooted at car’s back seat.
