"Boys run" thier mother screamed. Oh, how Douglas wished he could do just that. Grab his twin brother, Benjamin, and run for the hills, but his feet were glued to the spot behind the bushes him and Ben watched as what could only be discribed a giant wolfs ripping apart their parents peice by peice. Douglas watched in mindless horror, his mothers screams were the worst thing he had ever witnessed. Everything in him screaming to get his twin and run, but his 11 year old body wasn't getting the message. Him and his brother's only hope was that the wolfs, the beast, the monsters didn't find them in their makeshift hiding spot.

The boys may not know it yet but the sound of their mothers screams would haunt them well into adulthood and maybe even to the grave, but it was not the worst thing they saw that night.

The boys watched with increasing Terror as the bodys of the wolfs began to disfigure and become grotesque. Their bones cracked, fur multed, and skin clumped off in heeps. The bones begin to twist and form differently. For a fleeting minute Douglas hoped the monsters were about to die. This hope was short lived as he watched the beast that killed his parents take a human form. A small gasp almost escaped his lips, but he quickly retracted it. The things, the werewolfs, began crackiling loudly and boasting about thier skill in defeating the couple that had been the parents of two shelshocked and frightend boys.

Douglas clenched his fist and cloused his eyes, hard. Tears streaked both his and his brothers faces. The tears were mourning their parents, they were expressing their Fear, but most of all the tears were an angry promise to distroy the things that killed their parents and to never cry again.

🌙~~♡~~🌙

The moon shown bright over the hunters head as he looked down at the last beast of the night, he held it beneath his boot. The beast was wimpering and weakly struggling against his hold. This was the last one that was personal. The last beast that he was conected to. He planned to sever that tie.

"Shift" The hunter barked at the beast. Slowly the overgrown wolf changed into his mockery of a human skin. He smelled rancid, as all rouges did, and had blood coating his side from the hunters first gun shot. The beast, though defeated, still kicked out and struggled, none to which effected the hunter.

The hunter pulled down his hood and revealed his chiseled face only mared with a single scar runnung fron under his left eye to the corner of his lip. His glossy brown hair pulled into a short ponytail at the nape of his neck. He brought his pistol between the beastes beady eyes, but didn't pull the trigger, not yet.

"Do you remember me" The hunters voice was strong and gruff. The rouge beneath him spat befor speaking.

"I don't recal meeting anyone as ugly as you"

The hunter snarled, momentarily losing his composure, he dug his boot into the rouges windpipe.

"Maybe you remember my prents then, seeing as you did help killed them" The hunter didn't let the rouge  respond this time, instead he dug his boot farther into the beast's windpipe. The rouges eyes widen as they take in the hunters cold grey eyes filled to the brim with hatered. "My name is Douglas Jenkins and ill be killing you now" The hunter sneared "send my regareds to the other rouges that helped you kill my parents". He pulled the trigger.

"Have fun in hell, bastard". With that the hunter, Douglas, walked away. He had succeeded in killig the wolves that killed his parents now he had to get rid the world of the rest of the bloodthirsty Beast.
