1}Living with Heartbreak

I painfully dragged myself out of bed. Walking into the bathroom to shower. I remembered that last night wasn't that bad, I only cried for half an hour instead of a full hour.

This is progress.

Now anyway, it's been a few months from the most heart breaking day of my life. The day Liam left me for Sophia in front of everyone.

Niall got me a job as one of Louis' assistants as he got promoted to working on his own.

Often times I help Niall out too. I'm not very great with socializing or much more, so I guess the business industry is the best I've got so far..

After a short shower I sighed getting back into my room to get dressed.

I haven't personally seen Liam since the time he saved me from being run over.

But I've heard lots of him, him sleeping with a load of girls every other night. Getting drunk.. You know.

Wasn't I supposed to be the one doing that? Anyways, I've been trying to motivate myself to not give into the heart break.

To not dwell on the past.

It's alright I guess.. I threw on a tan colored tight dress with flats. Because I can barely get my shit together, I'm positive I won't be able to balance in heels.

I left my light long brown hair down and curly, simple makeup and got my bag.

"Morning mr. I got promoted!" I teased Niall while walking into the kitchen.

He was sitting down drinking tea while being dressed nicely in a button up and dress pants.

"Morning new Tomlinson PA." He laughs handing me coffee.

"Thanks Ni," I smile at him while sitting down. "Selena comes back tonight right?"

"Yes! I can't wait. She's been gone for forever now!" He exaggerates with a groan.

"Niall it's only been a month," I giggle a bit, "though I've missed her as well.."

Niall looks over at me intently, frowning a bit.

"Still crying?" He sighs.

I look away shrugging.

"Let's get going, being late isn't a good impression." I sigh sipping the coffee.

"Alright I'll need your brains with me today, Ms. Grande. We'll be negotiating with the Payne Enterprise." Mr. Tomlinson informs me.

I share glances with Niall nervously.

"I think it's best I go, Mr. Tomlinson. I know how to handle this better-"

"Nonsense Mr. Horan. Ms. Grande has had experience with this before. Right?" He turns to me.

I nod holding back a sigh and frowning.

Niall sighs,"Alright then, good luck."

He heads out after being dismissed.

I notice Louis taking his things and looks up at me, "Shall we?"

I nod following behind.

As I got into the car I felt nervous, this would be the first time stepping foot into the Payne Enterprise since I quit.

Truth is, I miss Jane like crazy. I tapped my nails against the car door as his driver subtly made his way.

Looking out into the cloudy sky, I realized how affected I still truly was.
