the first day seemed to go by quicker than i thought it would
i was thankful for that
a couple of people tried to talk to me
but soon lost interest when i wouldn't speak
they didn't know that i couldn't respond
i never had paper or pencil at the time to even try to explain
i found my sister shortly after exiting the building
and gave her a big hug
she returned it.
