The Battle Within

Chapter 4

I woke up to my phone beeping it was Demi she's my closest friend and knows practically anything and everything about me and my life and she is there whenever i need her, we are practically sisters haha. 

(Text Convo)

D - Hey Liv, i noticed you didn't eat last night and i know you were hungry, your never not hungry so im coming over now and you have to tell me whats going on xx see you soon <3 

M - I only just woke up Demi please dont worry im fine, big lunch for my birthday yesterday, really it was nothing. xx 

D - Too late. I'm here. Now you going to open the damn door or leave me here out in the heat? x

M - Ughhh the things i do for you. fiiinnee im coming then. 

I open the door and get bowled over and hugged to death by Demi.

"Hey Dem, I can't breathe and you know its actually been scientifically proven that breathing helps keep you alive." 

"Fine you party pooper."

She gets off me and lets me get up before giving me a big hug again. "Go and get changed Liv i have a suprise for you" Demi said with excitment in her voice. I do as i am told and go and get ready. Demi knows i cut myself except she thinks i only USED to do it, not that i still do, she thinks im recovering. I tried that and it didn't work out as planned. I put on a pair of jeans and a random shirt out of the draw. I took a quick glance in the mirror. You fat pig, you look hidious. My head went through its usual routine of what was wrong with the person looking back at me and then i ran out to Demi putting my fake smile on. 

"Where are we going Demi???"

"It's a suprise, haha you have to wait" Demi Replied. 

"Demi i hate suprises please just tell me pretty please???" I begged Demi to tell me she didn't give in so stopped asking and watched out the window quietly.

"We are here!" Demi exclamed. I looked around confused for a second. We were at a big house that looked absoulutly gorgeous, but it wasnt Demi's ive been to her house many times, it's not her mums cause ive been there many times to.

"Demi were are we? I dont recognise this place." She looked at me and didn't say anything she just got out of the car and ran around to my side opening my door. "Olivia please exsit the vehicle" she said putting on her best gentleman voice. I got out and we walked up to the door and she opened it and we went in. It was empty. "Demi come on, tell me where we are and why?". 

"Well, we've been best friends since what, like conception or something haha, and well we always talked about how when we grew up we would move in together and have our own big house and it would be awesome. So i went online having a look at houses and i found this one, its nearly exactly the way we imagined it and i couldnt resist so i bought it. Its our house!". 

I screamed with excitment and hugged Demi with all my might. This was so amazing i can't believe i get to live with my best friend. Shes right we really did always talk about this and dreamed it. This is amazing. Hopefully mum and dad are as umm what should i say, accepting about this as they were when we told them about our 'grown up house' when we were little.
