Erica's POV

I skipped down the stairs in my cheer uniform with my school bag slung on my shoulder. I headed towards the kitchen to grab an apple for myself before reading off to school, but was surprised when I met Liam drinking a cup of coffee.

"What are you doing up so early?" I asked him. It was 8 in the morning, I wouldn't expect him to be up so early. Especially from hearing them all last night in the living room.

"Because I'm sharing a room with Niall and he won't quit snoring." he groaned and I forced out a chuckle, not hearing a word he just said. I couldn't help but find myself staring at his muscles as they flexed while he clenched the cup in his hand.

"Staring at my arms again, huh?" He chuckled before taking another sip from his coffee.

"Can ya blame me? You're pretty fit" I winked at him as I grabbed an apple. I washed it off and then took a seat next to him.

"You're not too bad yourself." He smiled.

I snorted. "Not too bad, eh? Bitch please, I'm a goddess." I said flipping my hair over my shoulder, causing him to laugh.

"You know, you and Zayn aren't that different." he said. I glared at him.

"Don't EVER compare me to him." I said in pure disgust. I spent my whole life being in the shadows while Zayn was in the spotlight. I absolutely hated being compared to him. And the last thing I wanted was to go through that shit again.

"Well it is true. I mean, you both sing, you both love music, you both can be pretty vein" he smirked.

"Whatever" I said with an eye roll. What a great way to kill a conversation.

"So... why do you hate Zayn so much?" He asked. Noah was the only person who knew the reason behind this. I hated talking about it, it always brought up terrible memories.

"I have to go, I'm gonna be late for school." I said getting up and throwing the apple core into the garbage. I grabbed my bag and left before he could speak.

Liam's POV

What did Zayn do that was so bad? It seemed like a touchy subject for both of them, but I couldn't help but be left curious.

Although he could be cranky and reserved for a majority of the time, Zayn was a really good guy and great friend. It's hard to actually hate, or even dislike him.

What did he do to her that got her to hate him so much? Did he destroy an autographed Taylor Launter poster or something? Or scare off one of her boyfriends?

Whatever it was, I couldn't help but let my nosey side come out.

The kitchen door opened once again, only this time it was Louis who walked in. "The others still out?" I asked.

"What do you think" Louis chuckled as he started to prepare a bowl of cereal for himself. Those guys sure loved their sleep. "Oh, Haz told me he got to talk to Erica last night. Talent show starts at four and the school is right down the main road, so only about a five minute drive.

I smirked. "Let's hope this plan actually works" I said before taking another sip of my coffee.

Erica's POV

"Good morning teachers and students. Hope you are all filled with enough pep and school spirit for the annual school Pep Rally happening during second period! Show your school support!" A student said over the P.A system. Though I doubt anybody heard it through the crowded hallways.

"I expect to be seeing you at this pep rally" I said to Noah, crossing my arms over my chest. He chuckled and shook his head.

"No promises" he smirked. I pouted at him and slapped his arms.
