A guy looked at the girl he loved and opened his mouth to apologize. But she turned to walk away. He reached out and cupped her face. Staring into her eyes he said, “I’m sorry for teasing you. I didn’t know it hurt. I should have defended you but I was an idiot and didn’t. I loved slow dancing with you for hours but I acted like I hated it. But most of all, the best time of my life was also the worst. Our kiss was the sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted but I ruined it by pushing you away. I know now I’ve slowly crushed your heart and I don’t blame you for walking away. But before you do I just wanna ask you to do one more thing.”

He drew her into his arms and buried his face in her hair. Then he whispered brokenly into her ear, “Just slow dance with me one last time.
