"Uh, may I ask what you were doing in the closet?"
"Oh, that?" Levi pointed in the direction from which he had emerged, "I was retrieving textbooks when the door slammed shut behind me."
"Think the universe might be trying to tell you something?" Ellory laughed.
"My sisters will be thrilled," he joked.
The fact that Ellory was a student and Levi was a teacher was momentarily forgotten as they flirted. It wasn't until Sawyer strolled in that they were both snapped back to reality. Sheepishly, Ellory took her seat next to her best friend, embarassed that she had just shamelessly flirted with her French teacher.

Two weeks later, Ellory noticed her mind would wander to Mr. Caverly. Sitting in class, she'd dream of his piercing gray eyes and running her hands through his soft brown locks.
Wednesday morning, she was at her locker exchanging her Calculas book for her English book when a pair of strong arms snaked around her waist from behind.
"Hey, babe," came a familiar male voice.
Ellory smiled, turning around to face her long-term boyfriend, Greyson Montgomery.
"Hey, Grey! How was Venice?"
He slung an arm around Ellory's shoulders as they walked in the direction of her classroom, "El, Venice was amazing. I wish you could've gone with us, you would've loved it."
"I looked at some resorts online and it was beautiful," she told him.
"My Mom and I took a shitload of pictures. She wants you to come over and look at them. I've got a few on my phone if you wanna see some now."
Ellory scowled at him, "If your pictures are anything like the ones you showed me when you took that trip to Tokyo last May, then I don't wanna see them ever."
He laughed, "El, those were great pics."
"Pictures of your dick in various places in Japan are not great pics."
Greyson giggled all the way to Ellory's class before heading to his own.
"Good luck in English!" he called.
"Good luck getting caught up!" she replied. He stuck his middle finger out behind him as he made his way down the hall.
"Two weeks is gonna be a bitch to make up," Sawyer said.
Ellory laughed, "His Dad will just donate a couple thousand dollars to the school and it'll look like he was here instead of sitting on a beach in Italy."

Remington let them out for lunch late. Again. He was already freaking out over their first concert and they hadn't even been back in school for that long. His panic irritated the shit out of Ellory, never failing to put her in a bad mood.
With a groan, she plopped down at their usual table in the courtyard and ran her hands over her face.
"I can't deal with this bullshit right now."
"That seems to be your mantra," Sawyer stated.
Ellory flipped her off in response as a shiver ran through her body.
"And why the hell are we sitting outside in the middle of fucking January?"
Sawyer shrugged, "You're the dumbass who keeps bringing us out here. I just follow."
Loud banging sounded behind them, causing the two girls to turn to the window that looked into the cafeteria. The source of the racket was Greyson, smiling and waving like an idiot.
