She sits on the bed with her back leaned against the headboard. She holds onto her cellphone tightly as if it was a very rare piece of diamond. She stared at it, waiting for a call to come. But, there was nothing.

" Jungkook~ Jeon Jungkook~ " she sang out his name softly while caressing her cellphone. She continued to sing his name until a single tear drop landed on her phone. " J-Jungkook..." her voice cracks as she continued to sing.

__________

It has been two weeks since Jungkook left for New York.

Ever since the day that he dropped Yein off at her house, he has been in constant pain; pain of missing someone. He felt guilty, he felt like he broke his promise, he felt unfair. It was unfair to her, whom he loves. He had told her that he wouldn't leave her but in the end he did.

" End your relationship with her. You need to focus on the company. " Secretary Min said.

" Yoongi-hyung. I don't want this. You should just be the CEO. Dad trusts you, and I trust you. " Jungkook spoke back to Secretary Min.

" I can't take care of the company. It has to be you. Your father wanted you to take care of it. "

Jungkook sighs as he recalls the conversation that he had with Secretary Min a week ago.

He looks at his cellphone, wanting to press the call button on Yein's name, but he couldn't.

__________

Yein who was still laying in her bed suddenly received a text messageーno, a voice message. She opens it hurriedly and pressed play.

" I'm sorry. I left all of a sudden. I'm in New York right now but I...I promise I'll be back soon. I love you. "

Just by hearing his voice, she started to sob. She missed him. So much to the point where she would fly all the way to New York just to see him if she could, but she couldn't.

__________

Two years later

" I'll be back soon he said...what a liar..." She said to herself while sitting in the café that Jungkook used to work at. She looked out the window with an expressionless face. But then she heard a tap. She turns to see who it was, it turned out to be Kim Mingyu.

" Thinking about him again? " Mingyu asks.
" Yeah. "
" He still didn't contact you? "
" He could've at least contact you. I'm gonna fight this jerk when he comes back to Korea. " Mingyu said once again making Yein smile lightly.
" I knew he was trouble...I knew he was going to pull something like this one day...but I know that there's a reason why he's not contacting me. I know he's going through things that are complicated. I know he's probably in as much pain as I am...I'll just have to wait. He told me to wait for him Mingyu. "
" If that's what you want to do then go ahead. Wait for him. " he said smiling at her and she smiled back.
" Well- I'll see you later. I gotta go catch some girls~ " Mingyu said and the head to the exit, leaving Yein alone once again.

When Yein exits the café, she caught a girl staring at her. She had beautiful long dark brown hair and had fair skin as if she was Snow White. Her lips painted rose pink and her cheeks blushed red. She exchanged eye contact with the girl who was staring at her and then decides to leave after that.

" Imo. I think I found her. Jung Yein. "
" Good job Chaeyeon. Keep an eye on her. Don't ever let Jungkook bump into her when he comes to Korea in the next four years. You need to make him yours. You can have him, and I can have the company when you marry him. " Jungkook's step-mother said through the phone and Chaeyeon let out a huge grin.

__________

Yein has been going to university for the last two years ever since Jungkook left. At first, she started university life depressed and heart broken, but over time, she picked herself up and realized that she can't be sad forever over the boy who she loves.

With the help of Jungkook's friend, Kim Mingyu, she was able to somehow cope with her feelings. Mingyu would always comfort her whenever she missed Jungkook. Whenever she was having a hard time he would be there for her.

How Yein and Mingyu got close was an easy explanation. Yein and Mingyu had met before, back when she was dating Jungkook but she had no interest of getting along with Mingyu or becoming friends with him. However after Jungkook left for New York, she would visit the café everyday, causing Mingyu to approach her and befriend her.

It's not so bad now. She has at least a person by her side who she can lean on and trust.

But it wasn't suppose to be like this. Mingyu wasn't suppose to be the one who should comfort Yein and stick by her side; it was suppose to be Mijoo. But Mijoo had left for California along with Hoseok to study dance.

All Yein has left by her side is Mingyu.
