I ready for my 7th mission outside the walls. I feel a horrible heavy sinking feeling in my stomach, making me want to heave.
Why? Because Levi's riding next to me on this mission. And he's gonna do everything he can to find out why I'm avoiding him.
I ride slowly in formation, not paying attention to anything but my hopelessly uncomfortable situation.
My mind is elsewhere as we ride rhythmically into the depths of the forest.
I look to my right to look at Levi.
Oh god.
He's already looking at me.
