Fire (Levi Ackerman x Reader)

Bite

I scream and run up to him and hold him tightly.

"Mikami?!"

He grunts and smiles faintly at me.

"I'm fine.. I'm fine." he says,straining to speak loud enough.

I place my hand on his bandage.
It looks awful, like a fatal wound.

"I got bitten, but the doctor said I'll be fine." he sighs.

A huge sigh of relief escapes my body and I snuggle up to him.
His arm weakly wraps around me and I hear quiet footsteps behind me.

"What are you doing? We don't have time for romance. Get back to work, we need all our horses back in the stables."

I turn and give him a dirty look, but to my surprise Levi is standing with a stern face with his arms crossed.

"It's not romance. It's my brother."

Levi sighs and checks Mikami over for any other wounds and I bow gratefully.

"Thank you."

"It's my job. But we're going to have to have a private talk about following orders from higher ups."

I nod and put my horse back in the stable.

I don't like feeling like I owe people. And I owe Levi a lot.
