It was a Wednesday morning and Beth had just woke up. Tired as ever, she decided to check her phone for any notifications. Of course, she had a ton as always. Especially a text from her lover.
Beth was considered the "popular girl" in school and went to a school where most people who attended were wealthy. She fit into every crowd, was captain of the cheer squad, and was a SCCA rep for her school.
She had a boyfriend, quarterback of the football team to be exact. His name was Eli and every girl had a drooling issue for him. They had a good love for each other... so Beth thought she would do the sweetest thing for the "love of her life".
The couple had been together for a month and 6 days and thought it would last forever. Beth had a plan for the best boyfriend ever. She decided to put together a big party for him so that he would love her forever and ever. She gathered a few cheer friends to help get the party situated.
The party was at the fanciest place in town, Fincastle On The Mountain... Aka FCOTM. But as always, the kids who were considered lame weren't invited and I was one of them.
Everyone who was invited posted on their social medias photos of them having the time of their life. Then, she sends out a text to Eli and told him to come to FCOTM and he replied with an "why"? And in response Beth said "just do it babe. Look nice". The conversation discontinued.
Eli showed up an hour after that but Beth didn't know until she went to go to the bathroom. Eli thought he saw her with another guys kissing him so he saw Beth and asked her. Eli was so mad and furious with her so his approach was "Hey Beth, what I just saw I don't know if I should do this or not... Ya know what? This is for you". He grabbed Courtney Colman, the richest girl in school, and kissed her right in front of Beth.
"Eli!!! What?... What are you doing?" Said Beth uneasily. "Oh don't act dumb, I saw you over there getting it on with Ben Morgan making out with him in the corner. First you invited me here, then you do this?" Explained Eli.
"I was not making out with Ben. That's gross! What the heck is wrong with you?" Beth said. Eli got even more furious and stated "Ugh goodbye". Beth left the party immediately.
Later that night, Beth texted Eli and asked about what had just happened. He explained again and she responded in a large paragraph telling him how if he didn't trust her then they shouldn't be together. They eventually broke up. She was so depressed and upset. She knew he was probably fine. They didn't talk and probably never will again
