Sigh, new adventure, same characters, same me! I love you all and I'll see you at the end!

Prologue: (I do not own Cory and Shelby...In fact I'm 15, that would be weird)

Cory and Shelby had been friends since 1st grade when they both got put together for a coloring assignment. They quickly became best friends based on their love for the color blue and Spongebob (I dont own Spongebob either)

Shelby's family really enjoyed having Cory over and considered him their second child that they never had and Cory's family thought the exact same about Shelby.

Since they lived relatively close to each other so they always had close contact. Everyday after school Cory would go over to Shelby's house and just horse around. (Cory accidentally broke a lamp once)

Cory told Shelby all his secrets and Shelby told Cory all hers just like best friends would. Except one. Neither of them ever told the other just how much they liked the other.

Once they were in middle school the homework becamr more frequent and they Cory didn't have time to come over to Shelby's house anymore. So instead they resorted to sneaking into their windows at night where they would just talk and keep each other company. Cory's mom never could figure out why he looked so tired every morning.

Their friendship was amazing and everyone knew it and after everyday Cory's bond and love for Shelby grew and grew.

When they were in 7th grade when Cory had to move to a different state because of his mom's work. Their friendship would've stayed strong except for the fact that Shelby didn't have a phone.

~Flashback~

Cory slowly walked up the driveway sniffing back his tears. It was the day of his move and he had told Shelby a week before that he was going to be moving out of state. Shelby has burst into tears when he told her and didn't talk to him for the rest of the week.

"Shelby?!" Cory called through the doorway when Shelby didn't answer the door. There was still no response and Cory but his lip in frustration.

"Come on Shelby! I want to see you before I go!" She still didn't answer him and he turned around in anger.

Fine! If she doesn't want to see me then that's her loss.

I walked down her sidewalk when I heard the door open.

"Cory?" I heard someone whisper.

I spun around to see Shelby with the door half open and her head sticking out.

"Shelby! I-I just wanted to talk to you one more time...before I left." There were tears in Shelby's eyes as she opened the door all the way and ran out hugging Cory with the force of a bear.

"I'm going to miss you!" Cory hugged her back before whispering.

"I'll miss you to, I just wish we could still talk to each other." She sniffed and pulled away. "Y-yeah."

Cory looked at her teary face and felt a sudden urge to kiss those perfect lips.

Surprising Shelby he puts his hands on her cheeks and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Despite the suddenness Shelby found herself kissing him back with just as much emotion.

"I swear that I'll come back." Cory said pulling away from their kiss.

"And I'll be here waiting for you." Cory hugged her one more time before walking away and despite all the tears there was a small smile playing on his face.

~End of Flashback~

Shelby had kept her promise and waited for Cory through her 7th and 8th grade year. Even as a Freshman and Sophmore she waited before finally giving up and started dating a red headed boy named Max.

But Cory kept his promise.

He was quietly listening to music on the plane he was on. His Mom and Dad were sitting next to him just as excited to finally land but for very different reasons. They were excited to get back to familiar territory where they knew all the ins and outs.

Cory was thinking about the day he left and how he had kissed Shelby and how she had kissed him back with a burning passion.

He was ready to see Shelby.

First chapter is done my dudes! Gotta ask, how did you like it? This is my first book ever without an Undertale character in it and I expect I should still do fine.

What can I say but thank you for reading and from the bottom, the top, and the middle of my heart, I hope you have an amazing day!
