Chapter 14: Talking to Jacob

Jayla's POV

Me, Charlotte, and Takara were walking to lunch when Jacob gets right in front of our way.

''Move'' Charlotte says

''Not until I talk to Jayla'' he says looking at me. I looked at him

I look at for a second then said ''You guys go head I'll catch up'' they look at me for a second I nod my head and they walk off. I look at him

''What'' I ask

''We need to be somewhere private''

''Oh I get it you don't want to be seen with me, please correct me if I'm wrong'' I said he just rolls his eyes and drags me to a storage closet by my arm. He turns on the light and turns towards me.

I raise my eyebrow waiting for him to answer the question

''What the hell happened this morning'' He says

''I already told you weren't there so you can stay the hell out of it''

''You slapped my girlfriend and you expect me to stay out of it'' he says almost yelling and glaring at me. Honestly it hurt hearing him say that slut was his girlfriend but I didn't show it

''Look here she slapped me first this was fucking returning the favor'' I say glaring

''What happened to the girl that used to be Jayla'' He says it sounded like he was more saying it more to  himself more than me 

I laughed coldly'' That girl died when you kept bullying her and his girlfriend started bullying her too but worst of all her dad beat her, her dad hit her, her dad slapped her, and she had enough of it so she died and this is the new Jayla, the Jayla that all those monsters created'' I said. Right now I had tears streaming down my face. Jacob stood there looking shocked. Why is he shocked I said to myself then I remember what I said I look at him

'' Don't you dare tell anyone about what you just heard'' I said full blown crying now and ran out of the storage closet and went into the girls bathroom.

Jacob POV

I just stood there shocked I put more pain on Jayla when she had so much pain to already deal with. I left the storage closet to look for Aiden I know she told me not to tell but I can't hold something this big to myself. I saw Aiden at our lunch table talking to the rest of the football team I saw Charlotte and Takara looking my way I look down and make my way over to my table

''Come on dude we're skipping''

''why'' he asked

'' Cause I said so''

He looked at me and looked unconvinced so I said

'' And I have to tell you something really important''

He nodded and got up from the table and we walked into the parking lot and got into the car the ride was silent cause I was trying to figure out what to tell Aiden what happened.

We got to my house my mom wasn't home yet cause she had work me and Aiden went into my room

I stared pacing around and pulling my hair Aiden was on my bed looking at me for a while until he said

''What is going on''

I got teary eyed and said ''It's me I'm over here putting pain a girl who had to deal with so much all ready''

Aiden got up and walked to me

''What happened dude''

''Jayla told me she gets abused at home when she was yelling at me and I realized I'm a fucking jerk I let my status and reputation get the best of me and I hurt this girl who has done nothing to me! I say yelling, pulling my hair and crying this is the first time and a long time since I've cried

''I wish I could have it over again so I can do it so much differently'' I say crying and pulling my hair

Aiden looks at me and says ''You can't go back and change what you did but you can make it right for everything you did in the past'' He said I stopped pulling my hair and looked at him he's right I have to make this right with Jayla. Aiden hugged me and I cried cause I knew I was doing some horrible things in the first place but I still did them. At that moment I realized that I will never hurt her again.
