Y/N's POV
So, the children wanted to know how the new music sounds like. And that's why I was singing "Stupid Hoe" by Nicki Minaj. I wanted them to know how bad the new generation is. But they actually liked the song. They gave me food because they knew I was hungry. And now it's Enoch's turn to sing. He volunteered for it, so he got it. She sang this old timey song that I didn't really know. It was catchy but not my type of genre. After a while, he finished the song and got food.
"Enoch that was wonderful!" Olive said as she clapped for Enoch.
"Yeah. Good job, homie." I said.
"What does that even mean?" Enoch asked me.
"It's what you call your friends or acquaintances. Usually the ones that live with you." I explained.
"Alright, what about 'fam'? I still remember that you said that word." Enoch asked.
"'Fam' is what you call your friends or family. But you," I said as I pointed my finger to him. "are not 'fam' anymore."
"Oh, is that supposed to make me feel bad?" Enoch asked.
"Dude, back off. You could just roll your eyes or some other douche move as a reply." Jacob said to Enoch.
"Come on. She started it." Enoch said.
"Well if you didn't say anything there would have been nothing that started." Jacob said.
"Alright, bro. I appreciate your concern, but just chill." I said trying to calm Jacob down.
"Children, off to bed now. I think it's late enough." Miss Peregrine said.
"Awwwwwwwwwwww." The children said in unison.
"One more song!" Millard pleaded.
"Alright. Just one." Miss Peregrine said.
"Yaaayyy!!" The children cheered.
"Come on, Y/N." Emma said as she motioned me to sing.
"Hey, I was doing just fine until I met you. I drank too much and that's an issue, but I'm okay." I started to sing 'Closer' by The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey.
